“CSArchitects is top notch. We've used John's services on many projects over the 6-7 years and have come to rely on his knowledge of architectural design and codes compliance. I'd definitely recommend him for commercial or residential architectural work.”

“While planning a major remodel in my home, my husband and I consulted with Pam Powell of Powell Architecture. The first unusual feature of Ms. Powell's service was the fact that she actually listened to me. She provided ample drawings and suggestions to maximize our budget while giving me the direction to make the renovation a success. Although our budget was modest, we received the professional attention that a large developer might expect. This isn't a huge town, so I know several people who have used Powell Architecture for home plans and commercial projects. Everyone with whom I've spoken has had very similar experiences with this firm. I would definitely use this business again, or recommend Powell Architecture to a friend or family member who needs the services of a creative, intelligent, thoughtful professional.”

Ethan Allen Design Center - Paducah, KY

“I visited the EA Design Center in Paducah while visiting a friend in April. I have been looking to re-do my living room and master bedroom and live in central KY. A friend who had been there had told me to go through the Paducah EA and "make sure you request to meet with Amy." So, I followed the advice and walked in there on a Saturday morning. To be quite truthful, I was a little worried. I had seen some EA furniture that both my husband and I really liked, but when visiting another EA location in the winter, we were both more than a little off-put. I didn't honestly have an optimistic outlook, but we'd seen some Ethan Allen items we loved, so I thought I'd give it a chance since I was in town. I was met by a friendly face and shared that I was looking for Amy, to which she responded, "that's me! How can I help?" Already, I was receiving better treatment than I had in the past. I spent the next little while in there, and the entire time, Amy could not have been more patient, friendly, and helpful. She understood mine and my husband's tastes, appreciated what we absolutely did not want, and basically was able to perfectly plan out our home's changes according to what we wanted. If I had questions (which I did, and lots of them), she had answers. It got to the point that I was ready to pull the trigger on a purchase for our home, which was a reaction I didn't expect at all. I'd gone to browse! I then had to explain to Amy that there were two issues, the first being that my husband wasn't in Paducah with me, and the second being that we were expecting a baby in July, and quite truthfully the idea of a large home renovation was a bit daunting at that time. Honestly, at the other store I'd visited, this information would have caused the salesperson to shut down. A sale that isn't that day isn't a sale. However, Amy's reaction was the complete opposite. She was so understanding, and she told me whenever my husband and I were settled with our baby and ready to make the move, she'd be there and have all of our information on file, which she had been noting during our entire conversation. When I left, she told me to take care of myself and my sweet baby, and she'd see us when we were ready. Although my husband and I haven't made a purchase through Ethan Allen Paducah yet (nine weeks from our due date!), we will, and we will be working with Amy. We have told everyone we know if they're interested in getting new furniture, that's the place to go, and she's the woman to ask for.”
