“My current bathroom remodel/laundry addition marks the second time I've had the pleasure of working with Lauren Shelby and Spaces Within. It's hard to put into words what a lifesaver and pleasure Lauren is to work with. Not only does she help make what can sometimes be a chaotic process seamless, she also has an uncanny knack for tapping into a client's inner aesthetic and making your personal design style come to life. She has a flair for making your space both practical/useful as well as stunningly beautiful. She's not one of those designers that forces what they want down your throat. She spends time getting to know you and while she opened my mind and introduced me to new concepts I was initially skeptical about, she always had the final goal in mind - value coupled with practicality and beauty. I was referred to Lauren by a neighbor and while I thought her home was attractive, we have very distinct and different styles. I knew Lauren was truly talented when she was able to delight both of us despite our different tastes. Her background working for a builder also gives her the ability to help project manage as she speaks the same language as your contractor. I will post before and after photos when my project is complete but couldn't resist submitting this review based on my previous experience and current project. I would highly recommend Lauren to anyone embarking on a minor or major remodel or design refresh!”
