“I am a Custom Builder in the Dallas-Ft Worth Metroplex and have worked with Mike and his team on numerous projects. They have done various size and style projects for us and have excelled at all of them. Most residnential architecture in DFW is done by desingers and not architects. The fact that Mike is an Architect is HUGE. When they provide us with a set of plans, all the details are there. It makes our job easier and gives the client a better product. I would certainly recommend Firmitas Design and will continue to use them.”

“Complete kitchen and living area remodel as well as master bedroom addition. Ellyn's timeless design helped us gain the full potential of our 50+ year old home. We have storage, open floor plan and flow which were lacking in the original home. Her idea of open shelving in our kitchen is one of my favorite features. Skylights in the master bathroom bring in natural light while maintaining privacy.”

“Matthew did a great job helping us remodel our house. He did a fantastic job on the sketches and designs for us. Drew up exactly what we were envisioning. He also did an excellent job communicating not only the "how's" of the designs but the "why's". He helped overcome some unforeseen challenges in the process of the remodel with excellent results and worked well with the contractor to make sure the design met the finished product.”

“We can easily give the highest rating for Clint Pearson with Symmetry Architects as we are ecstatic about the design of our new home! Being neophytes to building a new home, we did not initially understand how Symmetry’s role would integrate with our builder. But Clint listened to our vague ideas of what we wanted (large wine cellar, sport court, minimal hallways, outdoor kitchen, living areas, anticipated layout of existing furniture, split bedrooms, etc.) and created a layout that far exceeded our expectations. For example, he designed a small courtyard with fire pit that we are using constantly. He added groin vaults that add a very dramatic touch to our entry and master with minimal cost. He went room-by-room to design ceilings to meet that room’s personality. His breadth of home design is apparent as the “little details” were addressed. Symmetry worked exceptionally well with our builder. We have now been in our home for several months and we are very much “living” in it. Much of the credit goes to Clint and Symmetry!”

“We hired Chrisopher to design a home with an in law suite that would suit not just my family but my extended family. His ability to translate concepts/ideas/preferences/thoughts into a well though out, practical, creative home design goes above and beyond anything we could have anticipated. We are simply awed time and time again by his almost instantaneous grasp of how to redesign a space in a matter of seconds into something even better than what we had envisioned. Simply put, architectual design is in Chris' DNA and it is reflected in the beauty and creativity of the homes and floor plan designs. Should we require home design services again in the future, we would not hesitate to engage Heritage/Chris and would recommend them to anyone looking to embark on the nebulous journey of home design.”

“We hired David Benners to help us with a remodel of our old kitchen based on a recommendation of a friend in another city. His attention to details like the upper and lower 'reveal', the unusual shape of the peninsula, including a well designed hidden pantry, giving the cook a zone without interfering with other kitchen activity, emphasizing height that flows out of the living room space,etc. made a huge difference in the result. He also worked well with our contractor. He really listened to my concerns about functionality and turned them into art. He also accepted the constraints like finite amount of money and didn't complain (too much...:-) as well as didn't lose interest because of my 'eclectic' taste in furniture. In the end starting with an architect to give this project initial shape and direction pretty much cured my aversion to remodeling. It wasn't cheap, but the final value was much more than simply $$ spent. We are grateful for his artistic and professional contributions to this job.”
