“Chris developed our home plans for construction. He was creative and showed excellent skill as an architect. He delivered exactly what we were looking for, and was willing to work with our Builder to accept minor recommendations which enhanced the overall construction cost. His 3-D modeling system was very helpful to visualize just how the rooms will fit together. His pricing was fair and we are very happy customers. I would definitely work with him again.”

“Jamie designed our house for us. We sat down with her and gave her all of our wants, ideas, and budget. She sent us our house plans and got ALL of our must-haves AND wants in the home plan. We have received many compliments on the layout and flow of our home. She was very receptive to our input and ideas and was quick to respond. Thanks to Jamie for making our dreams become a reality!”

“I have chosen to work with Fentress Architecture Workshop on a number of occasions, both as a homeowner and contractor. James brings to the table a great deal of experience in both residential and commercial arenas, although my experience has been limited to residential applications. While he is fully capable of creating an independent design vision for a project, he, more importantly, has the ability to LISTEN closely to the desires of the client and allow their own vision to help drive the process. Some architects want to tell you what you want. James wants the final product to reflect your unique personality. Great architect and person.”

“We are completely satisfied with the level of service we received from Home Design Works. Our Tennessee lake home was in need of a face lift and an extensive remodel/addition. Home Design Works had been highly recommended to us by a local builder. They certainly did not disappoint. Matt Lawler took time to completely understand our lifestyle, needs and desires for our home (functionally and aesthetically). Our project presented unique challenges with property setback limitations. “Stephen adapted a stock plan for our house, which we called the Fieldstream. The in-office process was focused and creative, while the follow up and plan completion was perhaps a bit less timely. Nevertheless, the result in terms of functionality, flow, and great touches like the desk nook was great.”
