“My husband and I were very fortunate to have Robert Griffin, President of Griffin Architects, PA and Fireside Antiques, Asheville, NC provide us with a home makeover. Mr. Griffin is a well known and respected Asheville architect and designer, very knowledgeable and capable. He is experienced with both multi-million dollar homes and modest homes such as ours. One of the many things that impressed us was Mr. griffin's gracious attitude. Our home was shown the same attention and care as would be given a much larger project. He was consistently respectful and considerate, taking into account our personalities, lifestyle and the pets who share (and sometimes rule!) our home. Our house is eleven years old, and I could never get the interior "right". I knew we needed a lot of help. I had no idea how to bring my vision to life, or even what my vision was. We only had one piece of furniture, bought eleven years ago, that I still liked. I showed Mr. Griffin that piece and said that I wanted the rest of the house to have that modern look and feel. I knew there was a vibe I wanted our home to have but couldn't put in words and certainly had not a clue how to achieve. He nailed it! Working with us every step of the way, he brought my very cloudy vision to life, and on budget, in a timely fashion. Griffin Architects designed a personalized cabinet for TV and my husband's pottery. (He is a potter.) And designed with us; we always felt part of the project, our needs always top priority. Fireside Antiques designed beautiful draperies and other soft goods.
