“Mike was recommended to us by our real estate agent. From the get go, he was courteous and professional. He took time to really envision the new spaces and explain the pros and cons of remodeling the existing spaces. We spent a few months going back and forth on designs and he never once balked at all the "changes" we requested. His pricing is excellent and the turnaround at producing and updating the drawings even better. “Scott Borcherding of the Bergland & Cram firm of Mason City did the interior design restoration work on Frank Lloyd Wright's Park Inn Hotel. A citizens' group had the building restored; the firm won a major national historic preservation award last fall. The hotel is beautiful, reminiscent of FLW's Dana Thomas House in Springfield, Illinois--both are Prairie Style. The project involved the restoration of 62 stained glass windows and hotel rooms.”

“My husband and I are working with Jon to design our forever home. We are about 90 percent through design development. Jon has been great throughout the process. I really feel like we’re a team and he’s been able to develop our ideas into a home that fulfills all our needs and embodies our values and aesthetics. We want a home that is healthy and functional but not oversized. Jon is very knowledgeable about healthy building materials and was able to design within our principles and I feel we have everything we need and more. The design is efficient and every inch is intentional. I am so happy with our plan so far and highly recommend Jon. He’s professional, creative, and incredibly detail-oriented.”
