“Distinct Building Design (DBD) were one of two companies we contacted to design our new home. We selected them on the basis that they fully understood our requirements for a two-storey, 3-bedroom home which left plenty of room for a back garden. They submitted an initial design which, by and large, is the home we ended up with. The other company, for whatever reason, couldn't/wouldn't do this, insisting on 4 bedrooms, with bedrooms on the ground floor and living upstairs. DBD recommended bathroom and kitchen designers as well as suppliers of tiles and all other hardware as the build progressed. They were very pro-active, with the design, during the construction period. The result was a wonderful home that we are extremely pleased with and would be happy to recommend DBD to other prospective users.”

“We engaged Your Home Designs to draw up some building plans for a minor renovation at our home in Maryville. Zoe was a pleasure to deal with, always prompt and thorough, making us feel very comfortable and assured throughout the whole process. She had extensive knowledge of the process involved with Development Applications and her knowledge of building processes from her varied work was a huge plus! Zoe added to our original plans and her forward-thinking meant that we even ended up with an extra covered outdoor entertaining area. “I contacted Anthony Parker through Houzz. From the very first phone call I found Anthony to be totally professional and courteous. He visited our site at Gorokan and discussed the many options available to us. Our project was a dual occupancy with a 2 lot subdivision. Anthony produced his first concept designs and we met several times to discuss alternatives and different options. We are now nearing completion of the project ( first one complete and occupied) and could not be more pleased with the relationship that has been developed between ourselves and Parker & Associates. The process was particularly smooth from concept to DA and CC approval. I have since recommended Anthony and his team to several associates and will continue to do so. “The lake house is a much loved holiday home. However having survived being the host for over three decades to four children and countless family and friends, it desperately needed some work. Despite several attempts to do it ourselves, living in Sydney made it essentially impossible. Bringing Jasmine onboard as the project manager changed all that. Jasmine was professional, diligent and understanding of what we wanted and what the house needed. She sourced reasonably priced quality tradesmen and oversaw each step of the process. Without being pushy, Jasmine provided ideas when we were stuck and identified items to consider that weren't initially in our scope but that significantly improved the final outcome. The completion of the works has been timely and we're still coming to terms with how amazing the place looks now! We will definitely be using EKAH Studio again and highly recommend it to others.”
