“Our grade two listed 400 year old cottage is situated in as sensitive conservation area. There were many challenges, not least, ensuring our neighbours were happy with the end result. David's expertise in all aspects is outstanding. The planning officer considered the finished product to be one of the best and most harmonious relationships and our parish council, believes our cottage to be the showcase of the village. The brief was to be sympathetic to the age and area, but contemporary and fundamentally our home. David took our brief and enhanced -by discussion- virtually every aspect of the design and build. This was a big, complex project lasting nine months. Four years on, we wouldn't change any detail. We would be delighted to speak or indeeed show our beautiful cottage to any prospective client. Additionally, David is a delight to work with and a major part of the success was due to David's calm, diligent and professional manner throughout.”

“We worked with John at Stanza Design to build our ensuite bathroom, which involved some structural work too. Would thoroughly recommend, its my favourite room! The balance between choice in design and being guided by someone who knows what they are doing was perfect, the builders appointment were excellent too. Would definitely use again.”

“Paul & his team are fantastic. They are patient and really responsive!!!they follow up and are fast. The guys have help obtained planning permission for 2 flats which got accepted first time with the council!!they did all the plans, made numerous changes for us and delivered our brief with some amazing ideas that we thought were not possible. We look forward to working further with you now to help us project manage the build, source the right builders, help us with tendering contracts and protecting our backs with the great advice you given so far!! i can go on and on but i leave it there. “Fineline Architechs offered us a fantastic service. We live in a Tudor, listed building which required a great deal of renovation and a total revamp of the large parts of the house. Fineline delivered a fabulous design which was both contemporary but also sympathetic to the original ancient building. Both Katie and Chris had great ideas and where a joy to work with. They were also excellent at dealing with our local council and conservation officer to ensure that the designs we submitted would have the highest likelihood of success, which indeed they did as we had the entire programme of works agreed by the planning department. I can not recommend Fineline highly enough and I would definitely use them again.”

“The Cave Cooperative were the architects that designed my newbuild residential annex project in Oxfordshire through the planning process to detailed design. They provided excellent advice on using more natural building materials and came up with innovotive solutions to bridge existing drainage. They were very good through the planning process by helping me get the most out of the 40% volume restrictions in the greenbelt. They are very user friendly and always respond to any queries swifly and with diligence. Paul Harvey at Cave Cooperative has provided an excellent service and I would highly recommend this company particulalrly if you are interested in natural building materials and energy efficient building.”

“Matt was calm and capable. I approached him to help with designs for a side return extension in a fairly typical, slightly wonky victorian terrace. He did a great job of explaining things and talking me through what was possible vs what was viable! He was also responsive to queries and completed work in good time. The outcome has been a space transformed from dark and pokey to light and open. He suggested sliding doors instead of bifolds to optimise the view and I love them. Doing an extension can be stressful but it has transformed how I live. Matt's design - optimising light via a large panel of glass in the ceiling and big sliding doors makes such a difference despite being north facing.”

“we asked for the complete refurbishment and extension of our townhouse, including complete removal of ground floor walls and re-build to new layout and extension, new staircases, and amended front elevation. Warren @ DDWH helped us re-design the house completely to our spec and showed us some new ideas in how to optimize what we needed. Improving concepts and ideas such as large master en-suite, new stairway and storage space. He and his team also helped with suggestions for fittings and finishes. We had their help during construction too. Many issues and problems were solved or avoided by their suggestions and discussions with us and the builders.”
