We had an extensive renovation on a 92 year house and encountered many unexpected issues. We had full confidence that Butch and his team could and would handle any issues that arose. Butch is an extremely talented carpenter and meticulous about the quality of his (and his subs) work. In fact, the city inspector commented on the quality of his carpentry, stating that he wished he saw that quality of work in all of his inspections. Pauline Veigel is also an incredible asset to this business. She is highly organized and diligent with the daily operations. Butch and Pauline provide a personal level of service that goes above and beyond the ordinary. In order to keep our project on time, Pauline would personally wait in the permit office for long periods to expedite the process. She also offered to help us with cleaning and moving back into our house during the final stages of the renovation. Additionally, as a surprise Butch restored an original transom that we discovered during our renovation, taking the time on his weekends to bring it back to life. Butch and Pauline are incredibly responsive. They answer calls during non business hours and while we tried not to abuse this we did urgently needed their assistance on a weekend. They did not hesitate to make a 40 minute drive to help out! I cannot comment enough on Butch's integrity. It can be a challenge to find a builder that puts your best interests first and Veigel Carpentry does exactly that! Butch also has long term subs that provide the same honesty and quality of work that you would expect. Lastly, Butch and Pauline are easy and fun to work with while being competent and compassionate. I would recommend Veigel Carpentry without hesitation and would absolutely use them again!”

“George Merlin and his associate Nabil Raad designed and managed the construction of our dream home in Sarasota. We're so very thrilled with the end product. George and Nabil are incredibly talented architects. They listened to our ideas and needs and came up with an awesome design that is gorgeous in and out as well as very functional and livable. Whenever we had a design issue, George and Nabil came up with very creative and aesthetically pleasing solutions, such as a hidden door in theater, hidden outdoor motorized screens and shutters, etc.. I can't recall one item that George was not able to come up with some kind of solution to accommodate our wishes. Our project was complicated and took couple of years to finish. George was instrumental in navigating the most convoluted regulatory and permitting landscape.. His knowledge of the local building codes was critical in allowing us to realize our vision.. He also helped us reach resolutions to many crises that arose during our project. We felt that he kept our best interest in mind at each stage of project.
