“I went to Scott after buying what should have been a tear down in Nashville's historic Belmont area. Knowing the house falls within the Historic District we knew we'd have a number of hurdles to jump to keep in their good graces while at the same time creating a showplace. We faced a number of challenges, not least of which was we had a tiny footprint, we wanted more square footage but we also wanted to respect the neighbors and not "overbuild". Scott listened to what we wanted... then turned his eye to design a house that not only exceeded expectations, but won two national awards from Qualified Remodeler! What attracted me most were innovative ideas, an interest in sustainability and LEED, and the proven talent to combine older historical buildings with a touch of modern.
