“Mark was great to work with! We worked with him designing our home remodel which included finishing our basement and doubling the size of our kitchen. His experience in the industry is immediately apparent. I also loved the fact that he cooks, so he really understood how to make the kitchen functional, down to the last detail. “Hired Roost Architecture to design an addition and remodel to our 24 year old home. We had a specific vision and "theme" for the project. Josh was a great listener and converted our ideas to drawings and specs.(while recommending some of his own ideas), that enabled our GC to build exactly what we had in mind. He was very helpful in the bid and GC selection process and helped us through a couple of sticky spots during the project. We are thrilled with the results. Josh answered questions thoughtfully and was responsive to e-mails and phone calls, as needed. We would highly recommend Josh.”

“Yohe Architecture was great to work with. Charlie listened to us and continually reflected our needs in his designs. He was patient and worked hard to be sure we got the design right, before construction started. His attention to detail during the design phase helped us save money for construction. The thorough documents allowed us to solicit bids from various contractors with assurance that they were all bidding the same scope. Charlie was thoughtful, courteous, and responsive. We love our new space and how it functions for us and also feels like such a retreat! This is mostly due to Yohe Architecture's involvement. Highly recommend.”

“We began working with Ted Strosser and Jason Clapp 5 years ago, working at our (slower) pace on the development of a program, design and construction plan for our home. Because we were living in another state, they helped us evaluate alternate builders and oversaw the (Gray Builders) contracting and construction process throughout the build. They were effective working with us virtually and at well-organized, face-to-face monthly meetings. Through the process, Ted and Jason were effective listeners, eliciting the real needs behind all of our Pinterest and HGTV ideas! Both were easygoing and quietly confident, which was particularly reassuring to first-time builders. They brought architectural expertise and their own experiences from residential, conservation and commercial work and materials. This translated into a highly functional and aesthetically appealing design. Ours is a one-of-a-kind home which consistently prompts compliments from those who see it. Working with Ted and Jason was the first, best decision we made with building our home.”

“Working with Bob and his staff to design my new house and guide me through the construction process was a great experience. I provided some rough plans; Bob presented several interesting variations for consideration, pointed out what was practical and what was not, and provided a very accurate estimate of building costs. There was no problem when I needed to put the project on hold. When it was time to put the project out for bid, he suggested that we include a firm he had noticed but had not worked with before; I did end up choosing them to build the house and that, too, worked out very well. His experience was evident throughout the process, from siting the house on the property and being familiar with period architectural styles, to monitoring the work while periodically visiting the construction site. He's easy to work with and I recommend him very highly.”
