“I have had the privilege of working alongside Emily Nair of i.Balter Design on a number of construction projects. Emily’s most valuable qualities are her attention to detail, her meticulousness with her drawings and her calm and efficient approach. She has a warm and respectful manner with clients and is highly approachable. Emily’s ability to cater for the specific needs of her clients is outstanding. She is a great listener and is able to individualise her designs to suit the lifestyles of the people she designs for. She is highly organised and takes the stress away from the challenging and somewhat tedious tasks of obtaining permits and liaising with Council. I have received terrific feedback from many happy clients about Emily’s professionalism. From a builder’s perspective, Emily’s plans are highly detailed and accurate. She is very knowledgeable with her understanding of construction, therefore making required changes to plans easily and quickly. Emily has planned extremely complex designs to difficult existing structures, such as her new extension to a severely dilapidated 1850’s homestead in Ivanhoe East. Her design resulted in a seamless addition to a historical Melbourne home; flawlessly unifying the beauty of yesteryear with the practicalities of today. “Our experience with IO Architecture was a great result after inviting their services on our behalf to various, useless, overpaid,council departments. Apart from council "doing my head in" the stress relief by Io Architecture stepping in and being persistence proved worthwhile and finally gave us our expected and deserving result. The fees charged were reasonable and regular communication regarding our project was excellent. We recommend your next project to IO Architecture for a complete service.”

“Sheri was the architect for my daughter and her husband for a major renovation of their house in Sandringham and they were very pleased with her design, co-operation throughout and the result. “Robert Mills, who was our Architect is an easy person to work with, nothing you asked of him was too much trouble. He listens to what you want, then designs and if he sees any improvements can be made, he will do them on the spot if you agree., His professional attitude, knowledge of the building regulations, and attention to detail is superb. He also has a great team of people who work with him both in his office and outside. The trades people he put us in touch with were also very professional and each trade did a fantastic job. It made the whole experience of building our home fun and exciting.”
