“I was in the process of updating my kitchen and a few other areas of my house, and though I knew what I had in mind I just needed that extra inspiration to make sure I got it right the first time! I had heard about Emma through the grapevine and decided to ask for her help. She was so friendly and helpful to deal with and totally understood what I wanted. With her expertise she sourced beautiful products that I would never have been able to find myself and made me look outside the square with colour choices and textures. What I also loved was that some of the things I originally wanted to change she made me look at in a new light and realise that with some smaller subtle changes I didn't actually have to change as much as I thought, which much to my husbands delight was a cost saving. I certainly could not have achieved the same results on my own without her inspiration, or had the choice of so many product options, which made all the difference in the world and added so much more value to our house. “We had designed our first new home ourselves, but second time around it wasn’t so easy. We had a basic concept in mind, but couldn’t bring it all together and “make it fit”. We chose Mike for two reasons, firstly he’d been recommended by a friend to check him out and we loved the look of his previous designs, and secondly because he’d completed a builder’s apprenticeship. It was important to us that our architect also had practical building knowledge. Mike came back to us with a design that incorporated all the things that we had asked for, but also added some quirky features and design elements that we would never have come up with on our own. He visited us on site, and was always respectful of our preferences and worked hard to pull the whole design together. We would definitely recommend him to others who are looking for a professional, considerate, and innovative architect.”

“We chose James and his team at Mackit because we loved his contemporary modern design style. The team made the process very easy and their detailing, care and attention as both a master builders and architectural designers was exceptional. They were fabulous at listening to our brief, designing and then building our project. The project was delivered to deadline without any unexpected costs to us, something that we’d never experienced with previous design or building projects. “We picked Daniel to design our home after reviewing various portfolio's from local architects. We chose Daniel as aesthetically, his designs we quite unique and aligned with our own style. Daniel designed a beautiful house for us with genuine thought given to how you would live in the space. While keeping the build cost within budget was a challenge, this is not uncommon on such projects, but overall we were extremely satisfied with what Daniel designed for us, and we would definitely recommend him to others looking to build a unique property that stands out from everything around it.”

“Richard designed and project managed our house. He asked us for our ideas about what we wanted in a house and then produced a design that was better than anything I could have imagined myself. It is a practical house, yet has delightful quirks to it. Richard understood that we were working to a budget, and whenever we made suggestions that would push the price up, he would remind us of the costs. He worked closely with the builder during construction, and we had very minimal cost over-run, much less than what we budgeted for.”
