“We had no prior relationship with Oakwood, but were impressed with the quality of staff that we dealt with, from the first contact through to the finished renovation. We needed a variance to be allowed to obtain the proper permits and John Liptak, owner of Oakwood was instrumental in obtaining this on our behalf. Without his personal interest in our renovation, we would not have proceeded with the project. John also gave us the benefit of his years of experience with various suggestions for our room. Our design specialist was wonderful, offering many unique ideas for us to consider, always offering various solutions to meet our budget. We particularly love the windows and paneling in our great room. The quality of the work was top notch. The wood craftsman assigned to our project did an exceptional job on the ceiling beams and the paneling. Dave’s work makes this room so beautiful and unique. The project manager was very knowledgeable and worked on our behalf to make sure that all the little details were dealt with to our satisfaction. Trent was very responsive to our needs and concerns. “We had to have our kitchen rebuilt due to a flood. Dealing with Susan and Distinctive Bathrooms and Kitchens was a blessing: every trade that came through our house were polite, efficient and cleaned up very well after their days of work! The workmanship is excellent. We also had our principal bathroom renovated and again the same high quality service. It was unnecessary for us to look for quotes from any other company. We have more work to be done in the future in our laundry room and other bathrooms and will definitely call Susan back. Thank you very much, we highly recommend you and your team!”
