“I live in Canada. I retained Colorado glass artist Brock Madison to create two top mount glass vessels (bathroom sinks). When one visits Mr. Madison's website and views his past work, his skill as a glass artist becomes immediately apparent. Skill, however, is only half of the battle. In what was essentially a project commissioning art, albeit functional art, communication was not only key to a successful outcome, it was critical. While commissioning art from a distance is not, normally, an easy thing to do, in this case, it was like being there. In short, communication was excellent. Both Bonnie and Joe have done a tremendous job working with us and finishing on time with such high quality detail that is simply outstanding. Her fox by one of our back doors has attracted some resident foxes outside. We have seen fox tracks at the door looking in at Bonnie's painted fox which has thrilled us and our children. The portrait Bonnie did for my husband and I is so beautiful with so much detail. It is fun and captures our personalities to a "t"! Complete with my husband's notorious rosy checks and she was able to express the love happiness and joy we were experiencing that very moment!
