“My contractor chose this company to design, build and install my kitchen cabinets. I wasn't sure what I wanted except I knew I wanted a modern all white kitchen. Josh listened to me so well that he was able to produce my dream kitchen! He was patient, kind and always reasurring. He really wanted me to be happy with the results which is why he was able to be so patient with my indecison. And I was thrilled with the results. His wife, who works with him in their company, is a sweetheart. There couldn't be two nicer people to work with. Josh can do anything in any style.”

“What started as a kitchen and bath remodel turned into us taking the house down to the studs. We hired a general contractor but were not comfortable with who he partnered with from a custom cabinet perspective. Seemed like he took a lot of cheap shortcuts. While our home was much more modest, my wife fell in love with the cabinet styles she had seen at a party we attended in a home in the Sherwood Country Club development. She took a picture and wanted a similar design. So we interviewed all of the custom cabinet companies within 50 miles of us. Charlie from CJS was an easy choice. You could tell he knows the business inside out. He listens - wanting this to be YOUR masterpiece, not just his idea. He showed us a portfolio of his work and wouldn't you know it - he was the guy who did the Sherwood home (turns out he did a high percentage of the homes there). I was worried about price but he was in the range of the other guys and at a much higher quality. We ended up doing all of our kitchen cabinets, an island, a home entertainment built in (wall to wall), laundry cabinets, 2 bathrooms, all of the crown molding throughout the house and he also did an upstairs built in office. All of it was gorgeous! He suggested darker kitchen cabinets with a lighter washed island for contrast and it is beautiful. My office built-in has a very rich cherry finish. Charlie knows his craft like no other. The way he sketches out options right in front of you you'd swear he's more of an artist. He has a great personality. He is prompt - when he says he will be there he is, as will his crew (Peter did our staining and several years later the cabinets are still gorgeous). We've had so many flaky contractors (if anyone can find my plumber he still owes us work) that it was just a huge relief for one to be reliable. Best of all, he made suggestions for configuring our upstairs master bath with a built-in steam shower that we wanted that our General Contractor couldn't figure out how to make it work. He really turned out to be our guide on the whole project, and we can't thank him enough. I've become friends with Charlie since he did the job. How many home improvement contractors can you say that about?”

We first hired Jim and Doopoco in 2008 for a complete redesign of our kitchen and den on our new home. The run-of-the-mill den became a home theatre replete with unique recessed LED lighting and a beautiful radius entertainment cabinet. Our family enjoys watching movies and listening to music in this inviting space. We've also had Doopoco design and build home office furniture and a built-in linen cabinet with matching upper shelves. Jim asks all the right questions to make sure he fully understands the customers' needs. He then works closely with the customers and their contractor (for large projects) to create the perfect union of craftsmanship and functionality. From the first phone call to the final installation Doopoco Enterprises works with integrity and performs to the highest standards. I can't recommend them enough!”

“After consulting other construction companies, we chose Creative Kitchen Spaces/Castle Construction for our major kitchen/living room remodel. We started the project at the end of July 2021 and finished mid October 2021. The transformation to our new kitchen/living room was very smooth and we are extremely satisfied with the final product. Jason was very helpful with all the questions (there were numerous) that we had during the process. We needed quite a bit of guidance as this was our very first remodel of this magnitude. We chose and purchased our cabinets, tile, sink, faucets, and reverse osmosis system with Jason's help. On the day the cabinets arrived at our home, Jason was there personally to ensure everything arrived in good condition. All of Jason's crew were extremely nice and helpful as well. The quality of their work and attention to detail was very impressive. We were also pleased with the work and the responsiveness of the sub-contractors Jason chose. Jason was upfront and honest about any possible issues and additional costs that could arise during our project. Like most people, our budget for this project was not unlimited, and we believe Jason saved us money where he could. There was a time during our project where Jason was willing to come out on a Saturday to address an issue and another time in the pouring rain to fix a leak above one of our sliding doors. In the midst of a pandemic and many other on-going projects, we felt that our remodel did not stall unnecessarily and we stayed on a good schedule. Thanks again!!. We highly recommend you!!”

“I had to take the time, even in the midst of unpacking, to write this review. We were in a time crunch when a contractor flaked on us and caused over a week long delay in our completion timeline. I looked on Yelp for a contractor who could install crown and base moulding and fabricate and install a built in bookshelf unit. I saw the reviews on Conejo Woodworks and prayed they were real. I left a message and Dan (the owner) returned my call promptly. He provided an estimate and was honest about his availability. There was something about him that made me go with his estimate...he's a genuine guy and seemed fair and honest. Dan/Conejo Woodworks surpassed my expectations. He got the project completed in less time because he knew we needed to meet our deadline. He was professional, has a great work ethic and does outstanding craftsmanship. Everyone who comes into my home comments on the work he did. I must add that I have been investigating construction complaints for CSLB for 10 years now. I've heard the worst...my experience with Dan defied the odds when dealing with contractors who far too often are flaky, unprofessional and lack follow through. To add to all the great attributes noted above, he's a licensed contractor with affordable prices. I would hire him again in a heartbeat! I will be posting pictures once I'm all unpacked!
