“Fournier did a complete remodel of our unfinished basement, including a wall of custom, built-in wood cabinets and shelving; finished ceiling; and drywall. The finished job was beautiful and there was a very high level of attention to all of the details. We have since hired them for two other projects. In April 2009, we hired them to do our deck. They designed the deck, incorporating my husband's suggestions. The deck is absolutely beautiful, with floorboards set on an angle, entrances from either side and a stairway with a railing going down the middle. We will continue to use Fournier because of the level of professionalism, the timeliness and the attention to detail.”

“The Johnson brothers are quality people with years of experience. They installed hard wood floors, custom built shelving, completed a bathroom renovation and otherwise remodeled our home. They are good with custom molding, baseboards and trim work. They pay attention to details. They listen and address concerns. They stay in contact and can be trusted. They have also participated in a partial basement enhancement project including drywall, baseboards, painting and insulation.”

“Kent did a wonderful job replacing the railings on my Victorian house, front and back stairs. (He did the carpentry and I did the painting.) The front porch curves and he bent the rails to match the curvature. He provided an accurate estimate of the cost, met the schedule and came back promptly to make an adjustment. Kent is very pleasant to work with, especially for a single woman. I have recommended him to friends.”

“Orchid Construction was extremely professional and fantastic to work with. I added about 400 square feet to my house on the second story and had the main floor plan reworked and I couldn't be happier with the results. They added a full master bath, master closet, powder room, new kitchen and completely remodeled my second floor to include a sitting room, 2 bed rooms and a full bath! They listened to what I needed and accommodated accordingly. I would definitely recommend and use Orchid again.”

“Contractor/carpenter/home inspector He installed windows in my rental property that looked just as good as the ones a High quality window company had installed. Built a deck on my home based on a picture I had cut out of a magazine and it looked just like the picture. Only he decided to add the solar caps and added a step that went around the deck to meet a pathway that my husband had built. He designed it so everything met up perfectly and more beautiful in the end than the photo I provided. Reframed the garage door where wood had rotted, as well as replaced rotted wood on the pillar on the front of my home. Installed floor trim, painted and had a cabinet built to fit a specific sized space. Plus other "handyman" items too numerous to mention. Everything was completed very professionally and reasonably priced. He is friendly, efficient and can handle almost any contractor or carpentry assignment you might give him. He also completed a home inspection on one of my properties which was extremely detailed, he even researched the city codes to comment on what might not meet the codes if it was listed for sale. He provides photos of any issues along with the details of the "cure". I recommend him to all of my family and friends. Exquisite work.”

“I purchased some barn wood for the sides of my bar and slab for the top. Turned out great. I also bought a slab with a hole in the center of the large end and made a coffee table out of it. Love it, turned out great. It's in my finished basement with an American Flag that I purchased from 2nd chance. It's surprising the cost of some of this reclaimed wood but when you purchase reclaimed wood it's worth the price. Clean it up and it looks great when it's finished.”
