“Our house had just been renovated and the old blinds (and now dirty and broken) needed to be replaced quickly for an event at the home. We met the wife of the owner, Paul who was helpful in helping choose the type of window treatment we wanted. Paul came to the home to sample books to help to measure and choose the color and fabrics for the blinds. Very personable.”

“We had new faux wooden blinds and cordless cellular shades installed throughout our house, which included 19 windows. The project had a fast turn around time between measurements and installation. The installer was extremely courteous, very professional and beyond helpful and insightful. I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family.”

“I have purchased window treatments from Added Touch several times and the experience was eye opening. Not only did I get a great price, but they gave me something I just could not get anywhere else that I looked, Honest reputable old fashioned service. I could not believe how much they knew about all types of window treatments. They carried what appeared to be a very wide selection from a number of different companies and they answered all my questions. They even came to my home with samples, measured my windows to make sure everything would fit properly and that was all free of charge. When my window treatments arrived they sent an installer to my home and he installed everything perfectly. As long as I live anywhere in Upstate New York I will always buy my window treatments at Added Touch 1 Genesee St New Hartford, NY”

However, their additional services work well for sourcing out fabric and trims for window treatments and more. In trying to find a particular fabric in a colorway that worked with my client's aesthetic, the design staff at Wallauer's provided the source, the samples, and the installation necessary to complete my kitchen project. The fixed, relaxed roman blind with simple beaded trim and the Hunter Douglas blinds provided the finishing touches needed for my Modern Cottage kitchen design.”

“I have had the absolute pleasure of working with Lori Friedlander on my recent window design project. Lori is amazing. From our first meeting, I knew I was in good hands. As you can imagine, window treatments can be a daunting, overwhelming task. However, not with Lori. She guided me based on my style preferences and price point, provided samples that my husband and I could pick from, and walked us through the Smith and Noble process of what to expect, which was perfection. My one regret was why didn't I contact Smith and Noble sooner?! :) Lori's design and communication skills are top notch. She is a seasoned professional. She kept me in the loop every step of the way. Not once did I need to reach out to her for a status. She was extremely proactive and kept me informed of timing, delivery, what to expect with installation. All in all it was a wonderful experience. “This ranks among the best experiences we've had with contractors in NYC. We collected estimates from other Hunter Douglass retailers but Alluring delivered a level of attention to our needs that was not present with other salesmen. They're a little bit pricier than the big box competition. But if you do your homework, we found they'll make you an appealing counter. Roni- our salesman- helped us pick out shades and shutters perfect for our condo- He listened to our ideas, fielded a hundred questions, educated us about the product and helped shape our decision. He was never pushy, never forced an up-sell, or pressed us on time. In fact he came back a second time, before we ever committed to buying from him, just to make sure my partner would be happy with our choices. Alluring was very clear about the timelines for manufacturing and gave us a realistic estimate- 6 weeks- for installation. He kept us updated and involved. Installation came at about 7 weeks from purchase. Roni and one of his associates took great care during the installation and gave thorough instructions about our new coverings. I want to emphasize this point because it speaks volumes about the integrity of this business- our SALESMAN was present during the entire installation!
