“We chose Johnson Patios to do our backyard. They did an amazing job. We had a simple design in mind with pavers and artificial turf. The project was completed on time, within budget and I'm very happy with the way everything turned out. The crew was very professional, efficient, and they made sure to leave their work area clean every night. It was very good at communicating with us throughout the process. “As a first time homeowner with a shortage of time and a deck in need of some tlc I needed not only a professional service but some solid advice on the care and treatment of my deck. Bruce was extremely friendly, and easy to work with. As others have mentioned, he responds to email very quickly and stays involved through the whole process. Not only was their work top notch, but Bruce was also very forthcoming and honest about what really needed to be done to care for the deck which was extremely helpful in getting the right work done within my tight budget. “I've known Rudi for many years and it was a pleasure to finally work with him first hand on some improvements on my house in Rockridge. My nearly 100 year old house was due for new windows and my 14 year old deck was looking tired so I hired Schafer Construction to do the work. His crew was efficient, polite, professional and always on time. I received regular communication throughout the project and couldn't be happier with the finished product. “We worked with Adam who oversaw our whole project, from consultation all the way to completion. He was excited about helping with us from the first meeting. The initial consultation took a few hours, to go over everything and do measurements. He came back a day or so later with visuals and computer renderings to help us see what he was talking about. We looked at other companies and smaller vendors, and it either took too long to get ideas, quotes, or any information about these types of projects. Highly recommended.”

“We had an older wooden patio cover removed and and a new aluminum one installed by C-Thru Sunrooms. They worked with us on timing of the project as we had to have the old one removed then new windows and patio doors before the new cover could be installed. When we ere ready they had the materials delivered and started right away. We added lights and electrical outlets to it and we are very happy with the way it came out.”

“Mike and his team did an excellent job rebuilding our side deck. We initially hired him several years ago to build our main deck. He did such a great job with that, we had to ask him back. They are professional, reliable and are very talented craftsmen. Highly recommended!”
