“Distinctive home Furnishings is our go to store for any type of furniture! My husband and I moved to Bloomington, Indiana the summer of 2015. Our new home in Bloomington has lots of charm, and is very different than our previous house in Delaware. Our old furniture did not look right in our new home. We didn't want to spend a lot of money, but we did want to see if we could refurnish a couple of rooms without breaking the bank. We went to every furniture store in town, and found them either too expensive or cheap and poor quality. Then we discovered Distinctive Home Furnishings. We walked into the store and were thrilled when we weren't attacked by the sales people. My husband and I perused the store and found excellent quality furniture and very affordable prices. The sales people we worked with, Clint and Dave were extremely helpful and always willing to work with us to find what we were looking for. We special ordered all the furniture we got there, and are thrilled with our choices. Clint and Dave guided us through all our decisions and were honest and insightful. We had a great time picking out materials and wood finishes. The quality of the furnishings are excellent, and the styles are unique. We will continue to patronize Distinctive Home Furnishings for all our furniture needs!”

“I have purchased 10 framed posters from Posters 2 Prints most of them being 26 x 36 or larger. My favorites are the 3 Wizard of Oz posters that I had framed and put in my exercise room on a large wall. The framer actually called me to let me know that one poster had a questionable border that may be exposed if I wanted all three posters the same exact size. I did explain that they would be hung together on the same wall and that the frames needed to match. He did a fantastic job and I am so happy with the results. I also have some Van Gogh and Matisse in my bedroom that are in a large sitting area that kind of give the area a museum look. The master bath has some really pretty beach pictures that mirror one another and are very colorful. My hall bath is done with several of the fish poster selections, one of which is a huge underwater picture of saltwater fish. I put that on a large wall to look like an aquarium and it reflects off the vanity mirror. My half bath has one of the large pictures over the toilet are of a dog and cat toasting to the good life with champagne. As you can see, I am very thrilled with the quality and workmanship that Posters 2 Prints has delivered to me. Speaking of delivery….their packaging is one of the best. Very sturdy cardboard embraces the artwork with plastic covering. Hardware is included! I won't use anyone else for my artwork. Sign up online to get coupons. : )”

“I first requested a cherry bedroom furniture set (Windsor style I think) with a few customizations - in the tall chest of drawers he put in a chamber with a door next to two smaller drawers for stacking jeans in - it's been great. Also a long hook 'thang' that is just hooks for hanging clothes we've worn but they don't need to be washed yet, with a shelf on top for cool stuff. That was SO nice (cedar drawer bottoms, beeswax reservoirs to keep the drawers sliding, lovely smooth finish...) that we added a cherry table - just gorgeous! Then he designed a custom oak and Corian bathroom sink cabinet to give us a little more room (small bathroom). And when we needed hardwood floors, he helped us out again, making all the wood for an oak with cherry and walnut patterned floor downstairs and ash for the upstairs bedrooms. The floors turned out so tight that there are no cracks between the boards - still - years and years later! Then we inherited a little money and bought our daughter a maple chest of drawers (Amish) with a matching bookcase that can be mounted on top or used on the floor. Now we are saving for a new bathroom custom double sink cherry cabinet upstairs and the rest of the bedroom set for our daughter! Our son will get the cherry bedroom set. Every order was fulfilled in the time frame he promised. The quality of his work is worth the expense. I don't remember all the details they are asking for below, so please ignore it if it forces me to put something down - the date is just in the middle somewhere of all the times I bought furniture.”
