“Working with Jake and his team has been a true joy. We needed our bathroom renovation done rather quickly and were able to schedule the start of the renovation within one week of us accepting the quote. The bathroom renovation seemed challenging to me, as the central London location was in an old building, on the 4th floor (no lift) and a very small space. Jake and his team made it look easy. Jake’s team was great at organising logistics, so we only needed a parking permit for two days. The whole project was done within five working days. I have never experienced such great communication with any renovation project I’ve done so far. Everything was done on schedule. Jake was particularly great at supporting through the design process, showing endless patience with any questions and concerns. Discussing and agreeing on design, as well as ordering the materials was done within two days. He also has an impressively quick response time via email. He helped pick out the right materials, being great at advising on various price ranges. It was a very easy process to directly order everything that was needed via Victorian Plumbing. Some items had to be exchanged, as they didn’t work with the space, but that exchange was also very straightforward and with a quick turnaround. The quality of the work is outstanding, everything being installed to a perfect standard and looking great. The team did also a great clean-up afterwards. If your priority is to get a great quality bathroom, with wonderful support and no headaches throughout the process, with a fantastic all-around service and comms, I cannot recommend London Bathroom Installations highly enough.”

“Laura Finn has been wonderful to work with, full of enthusiasm, energy, patience and has a great eye for detail. We sought Laura’s assistance with the renovation of our lounge/dining room/kitchen area including purchasing furniture. We had just moved in and wanted to transform our room and add some character and colour. Laura gave us lots of ideas on how to best make use of the space and to incorporate our ideas. We’re happy we were also able to save money by getting our kitchen worktops and doors vinyl wrapped and changing the handles- both saving money and giving it a completely fresh new look! We are so happy with the overall look and it’s become our most used and favourite area in the house. During the process, Laura helped us become more confident to step outside of our comfort zone and make bolder decisions regarding colour. She’s wonderfully easy to work with, very responsive and fantastic at sourcing furniture including sofa, chairs, lighting and curtains. Decorbuddi were also very good at chasing and keeping us updated with delivery times of furniture. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Laura again for our next design project.”

“Pencil and Brick were a pleasure to work with. They were clear and quick in communications. They helped us prioritise when compromise was required, and are honest and direct. We engaged them as architects, project managers, and builders to renovate our Victorian home. The complete service made a stressful process as painless as possible and meant the project was finished within expected budget and on time. They collaborated with us, listened to our requirements and tailored their approach to our needs, offering clever solutions to tricky areas. The house originally did not have a central heating system, insulation, or a kitchen. It needed remedial works including rebuilding poor quality extensions and gutters. While these works might be less glamourous in photos, they worked with us to produce something that is comfortable and beautiful to live in, while remaining functional to our lifestyle. They took our input on our preferences into their designs and solved various issues at all stages (from clever layouts at the design stage, to finding natural solutions to complicated split-level problems, to practical building solutions by the builders). The builders took real care over quality while finding practical solutions to structural repairs and layout difficulties. They designed and installed an ASHP system with underfloor heating, and that has been a pleasure this winter. As part of this they arranged the grant and complex administration around these areas. They have transformed an uncomfortable house into a home we look forward to returning to and waking up to.”
