“We commissioned CDC Studio to design and manage our downstairs extension and loft conversion. Starting from an old and rather run-down DIY conservatory, we told Delphine that we wanted something far more usable and presentable, ideally with a real “wow” effect. We were also very keen to include a sauna— either in the loft or the downstairs extension — and made it clear that this was a priority in our plans. What Delphine came back with was simply breathtaking. She presented us with several beautifully thought-through design options, each of them imaginative and carefully considered. In the end, we chose a design featuring extensive glazing in the downstairs extension, while also creating space for a generous sauna with views into the garden. Delphine was outstanding from the very beginning of the project through to completion. Beyond delivering the architectural plans, she also took care of planning permission, contractor selection, and the overall management of the build. Throughout the process, Delphine and Andrew (who worked closely with her) treated our project as if it were their own, investing an incredible amount of care, dedication, and attention to detail. We are immensely grateful and absolutely delighted with the result. Many thanks to Delphine, Andrew, and the entire CDC Studio team for transforming our house into a home that is both highly practical and aesthetically beautiful.”

“Our project comprised renovation and extension of a late 50's council bungalow, that had not been touched since first built, except for a small breakfast room extension. The brief was to add space and modernise the property throughout. Ainsley cleverly developed a design that converted the small kitchen and breakfast room into a large kitchen/diner, added space to the bathroom, living room and second bedroom (turning it from a single to a double) all within the original footprint, and created an extension for a new entrance hall, utility room and WC. The rooms flow seamlessly into one another as if the whole property had been built as one. The technical specifications and general building instructions were so comprehensive and clear that our builder stated that he did not even have to think. This resulted in a totally on spec renovation of the highest quality. It has totally transformed the property and our enjoyment of it. Moreover Ainsley was always on hand to offer his advice and guidance, and we appreciated his willingness to stay involved throughout the build. Top architect and first class service!”

“We were very uncertain about how to proceed with our project of renovating a poorly used space into a Utility Room and walk-in Shower Room. We felt we had received sensible advice and decided to proceed; from then on the project was managed very well by designated Project Managers providing creative solutions, when needed, along the way. All the attending tradespersons were excellent. Their work was of a high standard and solution drive. All were polite and helpful. We have been very pleased with the completed project and it has been much admired by friends and family.”
