“Our project consisted of a compete gut of an existing kitchen: floors, cabinets, appliances, accessories, electrical, wall removal and some soffit work. In a rather opaque industry full of questionable venders, multitudes of suppliers and contractors, we were not sure how things were going to go. After much due diligence finding a supplier, we chose Remodel Works. It was the best decision we could have made! From our introductory meeting, thru design, construction planning, demo, and rebuild Remodel Works and the subcontractors they employ and coordinate with to complete various specialty tasks were professional, trustworthy and delivered the highest quality workmanship. A small example of this is: not once over a 7 week period, did a single vender or company employee ever miss a scheduled appointment. Every morning work was scheduled they were there at 7:30AM, reviewing that days activities, and commencing work by 8. Never a glitch, start to finish. Again, a small example, but it demonstrated their commitment to our project, and those small things make a big difference. We could go on and on about our experience. All of it good, but won't, other than a shout out to those that made it happen. To John De Luca, our overall designer, Yvonne Fisher - our European cabinet CAD designer, and Ryan Terrel, our project manager. All professionals at what they do, and most appreciated for the pride they take in their respective crafts! And again, ALL their cohort, who they worked with to deliver a wonderful result. In closing one might still wonder about the cost of all this. Too high, competitive, least expensive, the answer is: Remodel Works delivered exactly what we planned, a beautiful kitchen, at the agreed price. No surprises.”

“I went through two other architects before I found Jeanne. One was from very well-regarded architectural firm that would take care of the entire process including construction management, with a large team of junior architects. Their quote for the build was high, and of course their fee was based on the construction cost. The second one had a wonderful social media presence, but seemed to push me towards the ubiquitous white 2-storey modern farmhouse built by a "custom homebuilder". I struggled with the choices.. we had bought this property because we liked the way it was, but it needed some TLC, and we needed to add an ADU. Jeanne came as a breath of fresh air. She has that rare quality of really listening to what her clients really want, but that is just the icing on top of her being proficient at her job. Her fee schedule is transparent and very reasonable, so we were very comfortable starting our project with her, knowing we could always add further services or keep it to a minimum depending on our budget. I can't say more how much we have enjoyed working with her. Jeanne has been a great collaborator with us and our interior designer, she was supportive and offered her ideas when we were lost, but was always gracious in letting us have our preferences when we had good reasons for what we wanted. Oh, and absolutely do not skip having Jeanne help with the the selection process for General Contractors: anytime they had structural or technical questions, I would have no idea, and Jeanne would take the lead. It saved us all a lot of time, and helped the contractors submit more accurate bids. Our permits just came in (bang on schedule) and construction will start soon. We will see less of Jeanne now, although we will have her back to the jobsite from time to time to make sure things are on track. Is it strange to say we will miss our architect? I hope not! “We can't say enough about how happy we are with the work Design Studio West did on our kitchen remodel. The project was complex—we were extending our small kitchen into a spare bedroom—and our house, built in 1947, presented some unique challenges with its uneven floors and walls. From the very beginning, however, Margaret Dean found brilliant solutions to every issue. She took the time to truly understand our needs and personal style, which was especially important to me as an avid cook. This made the entire process so much more enjoyable and efficient. The entire DSW team, including Margaret, Doug Hyatt, Steve Hunt, and Tracie Hyatt, demonstrated an incredible level of customer service. They were highly collaborative, even accommodating my desire to do some of the work myself. Doug and Steve were instrumental in coordinating tasks and offering valuable problem-solving advice for my part of the project. Tracie provided regular, clear updates on billing and was always available to answer our questions. The transparency about costs from the start was a huge plus. I also want to give a special shout-out to our cabinet installer, Stephen Calleja. The "levelness" issues of our old home must have made his job a nightmare, yet he made the new cabinets look absolutely stunning. Having worked with numerous contractors over the years, I can confidently say I've never experienced this level of satisfaction with a home-improvement project. The entire process with DSW was seamless, and the results are spectacular. We're so impressed that we’ve already decided to hire them again for our master bathroom remodel.
