“Elizabeth of Basso Interiors was a pleasure to work with! We collaborated on the intersection of architecture and interior design. While my job as architect was to restructure the spaces of a three story vacation unit in an original Vail lodge from the late 60's, Elizabeth's expertise covered custom furniture, finishes and art & accessories selection. Once the new concept had been established we both worked together to bridge the gap between big scale architectural moves and the fine detail of texture, color and composition of the finishes and furnishings. She was open to following the concept down to the smallest detail and I was glad to learn from her how not to allow a concept to squeeze the life out of the elements that impart warmth, whimsy and sheer appreciation of the beautiful. The contractor and Owner found both Elizabeth and myself on site throughout the design and construction and especially at crunch time pitching in helping make the whole design come together on time and in beautiful detail. Thanks to goes to SRI who were professional and a pleasure to work with.”

“Kasia was great at both decorating and being a general contractor at a reasonable fee. I was away during the entire project and she understood my taste (whimsy modern?) and managed to bring the project (a complete rebuilt of an 1,100sf appt) to completion with a small budget and time overrun (but I still know that she saved me quite a bit of money in many ways). She was great at communicating despite the distance and over the time-zones and at shepherding the project through Vail's permitting nightmare. Her subcontractors were honest and personable. I am delighted with the result and am glad to have had Kasia as my contractor and decorator.”

“JM Design did a fantastic job designing/refurbishing our home. We are beyond pleased with the result. While everyone we interacted with was fantastic, and Joe and Matthew are incredible, we’d be remiss if we did not give a specific shout out to Marysia who is wonderful. She is extremely knowledgeable, very easy to talk to, and overall was a real pleasure to deal with on every facet of the job — something that for many is a stressful project. Marysia actually made it fun. We love our “new” home, and we highly recommend this group.”

“Monique helped me with 4 projects over the last 6-8 years. A couple were big and a couple small, but her advice was critical. I do admit I didn't - at first - understand the value of some of her suggestions, but quickly I learned that she was right and that a skilled interior designer is really important in doing it the best way. After all I'm going to live with it forever and it's worth doing well! She is a conscientious worker that is organized and meets deadlines and deals well with subcontractors, and knows her stuff with materials and furnishings, etc.”

“I've know Chris for over ten years and have worked with him on multiple projects in Aspen, CO. Chris is a very talented interior designer and is one of the best decision makers I've ever had the pleasure to work with. Chris has very good taste in lighting and never gets stuck in a particular style. He works well with architects, contractors and other members of the design and construction teams. He has a good grasp of things like budgets and and a solid understanding of construction. Chris is entertaining and has the ability to keep projects fun throughout. “Working with Cindy on our custom built home in the Vail Valley was a pleasure. She provided interior design advice on all furniture as well as all interior architecture choices. Deeply experienced and with excellent taste she was my partner in creating a mountain home that suited a slightly more contemporary feel for us as North Easterners. She never pressured me to make any choice and was deeply respectful of budget. We worked together for more than two years, and she continues to provide me with professional design services. She has become an important colleague as with live in the Vail Valley but also a dear friend.”
