“I worked with Shannon on a small project... a facelift for my 25 year old kitchen. She came in and assessed the situation, immediately coming up with sensible and beautiful ideas that would bring my kitchen back to life but wouldn't cost the world. During all phases of the project she was always thoughtful of my lifestyle and decorating sensibilities. She brought in plenty of samples but not so many that I felt overwhelmed, just enough to refine the look I was going for. Then she brought in the best possible people to paint, upholster and do finish work. She didn't come in with the intent of making my kitchen into a designer show piece or to make it her own kitchen. We worked together as a team to make it MY kitchen. She had ideas, I had ideas... She was affirming of my choices but sometimes pointed out why one option might work better than another and why, and in the end she was absolutely right! LOL, yes, those curtains had to go in favor of shutters! As small a project as it was, there was still a lot to do and so many decisions. I can't imagine doing it on my own. She had my back.”
