“Carlina assisted me with the redesign of my kitchen and ensuite bath along with selecting new carpet and paint colors throughout the house. She worked with me on the kitchen design/layout, including cabinet design and placement, colors, selection of materials, along with the plumbing, light and other fixtures. She worked with me to develop what I was looking for despite the fact that my ideas were all very general in nature and she was able to refine them into the final product. Carlina has a very good sense of space and light and an excellent eye for colours and textures. In addition to the foregoing she always provided me options for consideration as well as price comparisons so I would have a good idea of the financial commitment that I would be making and took care of ordering all cabinetry, stone, tile and fixtures. She also coordinated all installations within the contractor and as i was out of town during the renovation, kept me apprised of the status of the project including work in progress photos. In short, the services she provided were excellent.”

Not only does she go above and beyond she has the patience to take time with the client,She listened my vision and where i wanted the home to go and fulfilled it beyond my expectations.. Her communication with when the home is vacant and getting her trades in and the place done were always on time and finished ahead! I met Tasleem about 3 years ago when i moved from Ontario at that point we donated my old items to feed a need and re-did my entire home. Painting, wardrobes, living dining. Mostly decor. At that point we decided on going contemporary and what my needs were going to be. So we had decided on what the basic style and colors were going to be. It was a long term plan we knew that in time the kitchen and bathrooms would come up. My keys have been on her key ring ever since! I hear she takes them everywhere :) So my keys have been overseas and back :) This year we did wallpaper in the 2 bedrooms, WE did the guest bath, refacing of the kitchen cabinets and my absolute favourite MY SPA bathroom. I had left Tasleem my key while i was in the UK and when i got back…I was pleasantly surprised. I had a little bit of food in my fridge, clean sheets and towels and a home that was now complete. When we were deciding on the bathrooms and kitchens we took time to go out and look at different finishes and tile and accent and she physically showed me all the options that would work, the advantages and disadvantages and how light and color would impact all of that. She even made sure that the shower spas has a little shower nozel for my grandson to enjoy as well as ease of cleaning. Every item i asked for and wanted was accommodated. I loved having options to decide. Her suggestion for the over all look are phenomenal. The design and what was in her mind and how it turned out with all the little details that go into it are priceless. There is a lot that goes on in interior and no many people understand that. TRUST! I love this woman, She adheres to budget, communicates, and has fulfilled each time what it is i require. Even when i do not know and I am not sure she will leave things around with the tags for me to see and decide. Continuing with home improvements have now completed backsplash in kitchen. Again have turned project over to designer and not dissapointed, on time, on budget and looks wonderful. Designer always “working “ for me, found chairs that work well with my decor in main living area. So grateful to have Mango Tango in my corner.”

Her design converted our 1990 2-story from traditional design to the unique modern design we'd hoped for. In addition to selecting new flooring, cabinets, countertops, appliances, stair rails, paint, wall art, area rugs, furniture, lighting and bath fixtures; Anna-Maria also selected replacement doors and windows inside and out. “My wife and I were 25 years away with postings in Europe, USA and had collected an array of furniture, some of it contemporary, some of it not. We were repatriated back to Calgary, our new condo was modern, spare, windows on 3 sides and we knew we needed professional assistance to make it all work. Suzanne made two visits to survey our living space, gave us several suggestions then provided us with detailed information and sources on the following; •She first suggested replacing all the builder grade halogen light fixtures with LED (track, pot and pendant) lighting. This was a major improvement, we were especially pleased with the chic and modern pendant lights in the master BR that run along the ceiling with ultra thin conductors. We saw no way to do this before getting the idea from Suzanne on the ‘Vibia” lighting’ •In regard to installing the lighting she referred us to an electrical contractor who completely understood the aesthetics of the products we had selected. This went very smooth and under budget •We had an over stuffed sofa from the UK that was beautiful but too bulky for the room and the modern look, Suzanne suggested a legacy Danish modern piece which we sourced a few months later. Very inspired and the focal piece in the living room. •She consulted on the type of bookshelf that would suit the room without leaving a heavy presence. The floating floor to ceiling shelves were the result •Directed us a furniture store for the solid wood cube end tables that very nicely matched the open grain wood plank floors. •She suggested to place four of the moveable closet modules as a headboard in the master BR. Making for clever use of space and a dramatic headboard covered in canvas to match the same monotone paint scheme •Suggested the Herman Miller bench in the master BR We are so very pleased with the outcome, creativity and collaboration in working with Suzanne.
