“Design Milieu was an excellent firm to work with on the redesign of the office in our 125 year old Victorian. Karen Bengel, the owner, took a very odd layout and revamped it in a way that's beautiful and versatile. It was exceedingly easy to work with Karen since she truly took into account our needs and preferences. The end result was a beautiful space that works for our family. I would highly recommend Design Milieu to anyone looking for a designer.”

“Haus Interior Design is amazing! Remodeling is a stressful process but Kirsten Kaplan kept us sane! Not only does she have an amazing eye for design detail, but she worked extremely well with our subcontractors making sure our remodel timeline and expectations were met. We did a full kitchen renovation and Kirsten was instrumental in helping us choose everything from the hardwood floors to the cabinet hardware. Not only was she able to find us some amazing grasscloth for a fabulous focal wall, she knew the right people to call for a flawless install. The result is one amazing kitchen!”

She's extraordinary in understanding her client's needs and preferences while bringing ideas and solutions that are within budget and efficiently implemented. She has developed kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room designs for us that brought a cohesive look to our entire home. Her use of color is exceptional and the coordination of rugs, textiles and artwork was brought together with a keen eye and understanding of our preferences. Wendy's thoughtful and cooperative relationship with builder, electrical, painting, furniture and textile specialists enables her to synchronize an interior design project efficiently to get the job done with minimal distruption to occupants. “I hired Pierre Jean-Baptiste Interiors to create a new look for our den. We needed new furnishings, accessories, lighting, and a fresh coat of paint. We are a family of four and we needed a timeless space to relax after busy work and school days. To my surprise the project turned out better than expected. They provided the electrician to come and replace my old hanging chandelier. The painters were on time and clean. After proposing a sofa that I was not 100% sold on, I went against my feelings to let them piece the room together and I could not have been happier with the selections. Thanks again!”

“Monica is very talented and easy to work with. She is a great listener and has excellent taste. She led us through a significant housing renovation that doubled the size of our house as well as 2 office space renovations. Monica has a wonderful design sense and creates intelligent and thoughtful layouts, too. Monica can do all of the preselection in the materials process and set up options for you to choose from to make your life easy. She creates a beautiful board for you to envision what each room looks like. It works beautifully! Monica is also an excellent PM for the project. Without Monica, I would never have completed my home renovation on time. And my office would have taken 2x as long. I'd highly recommend using her for any renovations.”
