“My husband and I downsized to an older home on Narragansett Bay. Although the views are stunning, the house needs some updating. Sue has been instrumental in helping us to transform our home into a space that not only works for us, but is equally as beautiful inside as the views are outside! Sue has an impeccable eye and helped me to see things that I could not on my own. She has talked me off the ledge many times during this project and I could not have done it without her patient guidance and tremendous knowledge of home renovation/decor!”

“I used Hestya for interior design, and I have to say that I was very happy with it. Their prices were very affordable, and the turnaround time was quick, which was great for me because I was on a tight timeline. Their style quiz reflects my personal style accurately, and it helped the interior designer come up with a design that was just right for me. The final design was top-notch, and I couldn't be happy with how things turned out. I highly suggest Hestya to anyone who wants a great service for home design.”

“Sarah was instrumental in transforming our house from the frumpy style of the previous owners to a home that reflected our style and personality. Our house has some quirks and we were overwhelmed on how to set it up in the right way. From room layout, to color strategy, to finding good deals on furniture, rugs, and other things, Sarah does it all. She did a great job communicating and sharing ideas over email and Pinterest, but also came over in person to meet with us several times based on our schedules.”

“I have seen many examples of Claire's work and can say with confidence that her construction/design knowledge is extraordinary. She uses the highest quality materials and the best sub-contractors. Claire is a true professional who consistently meets deadlines and budgets. We were very impressed with her quick grasp of what we envisioned for our kitchen. Although we decided against doing the project, Claire would have been our first choice.”

“Genevieve has work for my family as a housekeeper for about the last four or five years. In addition to doing the usual tasks of a housekeeper she has been of great help in re-organizing, decluttering, rearranging and decorating our home. I cannot say enough positive things about Genevieve. She is punctual, reliable, hard-working, she takes the initiative, and is a sheer delight to have around the house.”

“Sandy and I have worked on 3 different projects since she started her company. Also at this time Sandy is helping me with a new kitchen project as we have recently downsized. She is very professional and fun to work with. She can work with all different client styles. My style seems to lean towards relaxed elegance and she nails it every time I hire her. However I have seen some other projects she has done that are contemporary or lake style, classic etc. and they all reflect her clients tastes and are lovely. She is truly an artist. I have recommended her to all my friends.”

“I moved into a new home and needed a redo of my first floor and a bit of the bedroom and den on the second floor. Anna Hardy Evans ( owner of In Home Decorating) came highly recommended. I chose her to help me redesign most of my kitchen including reconfiguring closet, TV and wet at spaces. She helped me furnish a few rooms with custom drapes, and furniture and coordinated paint colors throughout the house. I couldn't be more pleased with how everything turned out. There is a beautiful flow with the decorating that I couldn't have achieved myself.”

“Our project was the renovation of a 4500 sq ft home on Lake Winnipesaukee. We had a short timeframe of completion in 2.5 months. When the completion date came and some things had not arrived in time they kindly loaned us furniture so we could entertain guests for a long holiday weekend. Home Comfort is all about customer service. The best I have ever experienced. They offer full-service decorating and remodeling which is very helpful. We are very happy with the quality and uniqueness of their products and we highly recommend them.”

She articulates my tastes better than I do and works well on budget, helping me to prioritize what is of value and what isn't.
