“I hired Laura to help design and decorator a kitchen and family room renovation. This was my third time hiring Laura, and she continued to deliver on my expectations. She understands and respects my style preferences, yet also makes me go beyond my initial comfort zone, and I am always thrilled with the result. Given the size of the project, I needed Laura's eye and expertise to make sure it went well. Her effective work with contractors, vendors and others facilitates in a way that saved my own time. The entire family is thrilled with the results! Please note the project cost noted in this review was for the entire project. Laura's fee was an agreed upon fixed fee and reasonable.”

“Mine was the Brooklyn Brownstone in Maria's photographs. Working with her was an extraordinary experience. She created the architectural design for our third floor kitchen and our downstairs duplex renovations, coming up with a series of design ideas that were both beautiful and within our budget. She helped select our contractor and collaborated with him during each stage of both projects. She made weekly visits to the job site, and just as importantly, the contractor would call Maria with questions as the work progressed thereby avoiding costly “do overs.” She completed both projects within our budget and even more surprisingly, on time! The results of her design work and project management are there for you to see on her design pages. I would recommend her unequivocally.”

“Kimberly of Brick and Beam Studio was wonderful to work with! She really listens and does a great deal of background work to understand your vision, your budget, and what you need for your lifestyle. She's flexible and willing to work with you the whole way through. I really believe she went above and beyond for us (we were rather indecisive!) I'll never work with any other designer and we plan to hire Kimberly again when it's time to update our second floor. I highly recommend Brick and Beam Studio - you won't be disappointed!”

“Kelly was our interior designer and an integral and important part of our design team. She was involved in the layout of spaces, all the finish details (counters, woodwork, tile/stone, fixtures) as well as furniture, color schemes and finer details (rugs, window treatments, fabrics, decorative elements). Kelly worked well with everyone in the group. She guided us well even when we proved difficult! She was able to channel all my thoughts together into cohesive ideas! I needed someone with a strong opinion to guide me through the many decisions we had to make. She pulled together all the pieces in a way I would never have been able to accomplish never mind imagine. I am happy with our decisions and wouldn’t change a thing! Her strong character, talent and good nature as well as her professionalism, direct approach and ability to provide reason made her a tremendous asset to the project. We had a wonderful experience!”

“Moving from a small city apartment into a house two years ago, I needed to update an older home with many more rooms than I had furniture for, and this was a daunting job to a novice! Jae is the first decorator I had the opportunity to work with, and she made the process fun and exciting. I loved having her feedback on color, design ideas, and help with furniture shopping. Jae helped bring to life ideas I had pulled from magazines. I knew what I liked, but needed her expertise to bring those concepts to reality.”

“We love our kitchen!!! The whole process was a great experience. Choosing our cabinets, granite countertop, floor tiles, paint and stain color was made so much easier with Nathan's guiding hand. His design ideas made all the difference in the world. Making some small changes like moving our range away from the wall added counter space to make cooking for two in a small kitchen much easier. Putting long tiles instead of square tiles made our kitchen look bigger. Being able to see design ideas in the RIKB showroom helped us visualize what our kitchen could be. Nathan and the great people at RIKB made it happen. The workmanship and quality products Nathan helped us select are beautiful and functional. We are amazed at how great our kitchen looks. His advice on appliance selection completed his great designs. RIKB's service and quality products and specialists like Nathan transformed our old kitchen into a beautiful space we enjoy cooking and eating in every day.”
