Although she is not an architect, she designed a renovation project that solved a myriad of problems without requiring the massive renovation suggested by several contractors. She is a pleasure to be around and has a wonderful positive attitude. My contractor, the subcontractors and our vendors all enjoy working with her as well because she is professional, conscientious, thorough and always well informed. Having encountered other designers over the years who were either pushy - in the sense that they were not budget sensitive or that they wanted my home to reflect their taste -- I can honestly say Betsy is a breath of fresh air. She adds a lot of details to her work which makes it easy for the contruction process and shows attention to minor details which adds quality. She is respectful of our time and budget and gives us options to stay within our limits for both. She has a friendly personality which makes it easier to work with and fun during the project.
