As difficult arose related to our first contractor, Asisat was patient with us and even brought another contractor to make sure we complete the bathroom on time. “How fortunate my husband and I were to walk into Ethan Allen and be hooked up with Julie! Downsizing from our current home, we were on a fast track to order furniture that would fit into our new and much smaller apartment. We visited the store on a Sunday, six days before the end of a sale, and Julie immediately offered to make the trip to the apartment to take measurements, not only to make sure any items we ordered would fit, but also to capitalize on the sale. Julie measured the space on Friday (including rooms and spaces for which we were not going to be ordering furniture) and we met with her on Saturday to see and talk about her ideas. Julie not only immediately grasped our need for furniture that would maximize our storage space, she understood the look and feel we were going for. As Julie laid out her ideas for furniture, for upholstery, for rugs, and lights, we could envision how beautiful our new space was going to be. Two weeks after we moved in, Julie came to our apartment on a Saturday evening following her day at Ethan Allen to help us place our artwork and pictures. She spent over two hours with us; we know she had to have been exhausted by the time she left, well after 9:30PM. And though the furniture is now in and the boxes finally unpacked, Julie continues to offer counsel on any decorating questions we have or ideas we come up with. The day after we moved in, our Ethan Allen furniture was delivered — and the combination of our old pieces and the new pieces is nothing short of “wow”! Everywhere we look, we smile. Downsizing, for us, was a physically and emotionally draining undertaking, but the rewards of our new space with our wonderful new look made every single second worth it.
