“Colbie is an amazing designer. She did my law office and it looks awesome. She's currently working with my wife and me on our home. Until now, I've never known a designer so skilled in putting together textures, shapes and colors. She also understand the needs of the client and can work with them. For example, I wanted my office to create a sense of containment because people who come to see me are going through tough times. It also needed to be professional and have various functions in the different rooms (even parts of rooms). She accomplished all of that. To see what I mean, take a look at her work. Some of the pictures from my office are on her website. One remarkable thing about Colbie is her ability to remember colors. That's really helpful when you're out shopping with her. She never recommends a purchase unless it fits the vision her client is shooting for. I've also seen her just move a few things around, add a tweak here and there, and take something from mediocre to outstanding. When it comes to design, Colbie's a genius. “We found ourselves in need of remodelling our old bathroom with a tub and sliding glass door to a walk in shower and we needed it quickly. I called The Curtain Call and the owner Joan was quick to come to our rescue. She came over immediately and we sat down to discuss what can be done, how quickly it can be done and importantly, how much will it cost. I was impressed with Joan's knowledge and her vision of what the bathroom will be like when finished and what we can do within our budget. She had a small space in which to work and it would have to be a custom build. She provided her expertise in tile and shower heads and what she felt we would need to make this shower accessible for everyone and still give it style. She gave me a timeline, what trades will come in, how long they will be there and what they will be doing while they are there. Everything Joan said would happen, did. I was very impressed she runs a well oiled machine. Her trades arrived when they were scheduled, worked hard all day, were very respectful and cleaned up before they left. Joan was in constant contact with me throughout the project and her organization skills and trades were exceptional. The walk in shower turned out spectacular and ON BUDGET! Within 10 days we were using the shower and have been very happy with the outcome. Everyone who sees it is impressed. I wanted to share a photo but unfortunately I do not see how to do that. I will tell you that rain shower is divine. We are one happy family. Thank you Curtain Call!”
