“Gabrielle is without a doubt the most wonderful person to work with. She did the interior design of two of my homes. One very traditional and one very contemporary. She listened to my "vision" and made it happen. Not only that, she suggested some wonderful alternatives to some of my ideas. When guests rave about my homes, I say that I can take .1% of the credit, and Gabrielle gets 99.9%. One thing I have learned working with Gabrielle, is she is always right! I trust her ideas and I have never been disappointed.”

“I have worked with Moya McPhail since 2005 when she designed all aspects of the interior of the kitchen and bathroom addition of my designated home. She listened and understood my needs and desires for the space and then ensured they were encompassed in the plans or she identified more viable and suitable alternatives. Her design is timeless and first time visitors are surprised at the age of the renovation. More importantly I have not tired of the space one little bit and still find it a refreshing to walk into and enjoy. Moya has been part of all design decisions for my home since that time..”

“I asked Kate&Co. to assist me in the design of my retail location last summer. I own a café so, it was important that my space stand out from the crowd and give the town a taste of something they haven’t seen before. Kate assisted me with paint colour, furniture selection and accessorizing. The support was great when pulling the space together. I would say that my shop now has an urban/industrial feeling that my customers really enjoy. It’s a comfortable atmosphere that makes it easy to host a business meeting or a coffee date with friends. Boiling Over's Coffee Vault has become a versatile space that I am happy to provide for my community. It was great to work with someone who is also a fellow business owner in Lindsay. If we can all find a way to share our strengths with fellow businesses our community will grow to be even stronger. I would recommend Kate to any business owner who is looking to revamp their space or anyone who needs help with developing a concept for their store!”

“We were in need of a new front entrance door. The precious “double” door (builder grade) was not creating a secure air energy efficient seal and was problematic. We contacted Back 40 Designs to review our home repair issue. We were unsure if the double door could be repaired or if we should invest and improve our front entrance door. The double door, was a traffic entrance issue as well. With onsite evaluation of existing doors, frame, hardware etc we took the decision to remedy the issue and select a new energy efficient statement door. Following careful measuring, we ordered and in a few days it was delivered and ready to install!!! It is an oversized single door with 3/4 beveled lead glass, side lights too featured gorgeous beveled lead glass- stunning! It floods our foyer with beautiful natural light as we face south- curb appeal “envy” of Neighbourhood. Careful and considerate installation with all the necessary hardware, insulation and even a new door bell - such respect, TLC and attention to details made it an immense pleasure to work with Back 40 Designs. I plan to have Back 40 Designs return this month to install hardwood flooring in our kitchen and great room- can’t wait to see the continued transformation and improvement to our home !!”
