“Being first time house owners, we couldn't verbalize what we wanted! However, after showing MSM a few pictures of things we liked, they completely got our style and transformed our house into exactly what we wanted even without us being able to fully describe what it was we actually wanted. They are incredibly creative and think outside the box with space and design! And it was amazing to see their vision become a reality! They are professional and we couldn't be happier! We are looking forward to the next phase of our redesign with MSM!”

“Our situation was that we had no vision how to give our living room and dining room areas a much-needed facelift, except wanting a transitional style blending traditional and modern tastes. We contacted Sarah because Sarah designed a friend’s living room, and we liked the finished product. Sarah was able to transform our shallow living space into an airy, bright, open area that looks fresh, impressive, and welcoming. There is a tasteful combination of color and styles giving the space the interesting design we wanted. Sarah was always accessible to our phone calls and text messages, and project managed the contractors to ensure all details were done correctly. She provided several layout options in CAD for us to choose from, and worked with her vendors for material and furnishing proposals and ordering. We are pleasantly surprised, and somewhat amused that our post-war home looks so sleek and expansive. We definitely recommend Sarah as an interior designer. We are pleased with the outcome of her work, and the professional manner she performed her services, all accomplished without breaking the bank.”

“We hired Mimi from Luminosus Designs to redesign for full renovation our master bathroom and an additional bathroom for the kids a few years ago. She did a terrific job of re-creating both rooms that had very bad layouts with lots of wasted space beforehand, and creating clean, beautiful, open and modern yet very useful spaces in both rooms that we all love - which was no small task in our case. She presented high quality, unique and custom elements that we never would have found on our own that make the rooms really shine. We're very happy we decided to use her for these projects, and would recommend Luminosus to anyone.”

“I have a television production business and we shoot many of our lifestyle and cooking shows in our house. it had to look great. Douglas saved me - he assessed what i had - a lot of mid century furniture - and used it as the backbone to unify our rooms into sleek, contemporary spaces that were both family friendly and appropriate for our 100 year old house.. Moreover, he worked with my crazy schedule - i literally had no time whatsoever to focus on my house. Ten years later it still looks fresh because his choices were never hackneyed or trite. I love it so much and can honestly say what he did improved the quality of our lives in ways that can't be measured.”

“Tricia and Caroline were terrific. They designed a room for me that had a very difficult layout problem and their solution was smart, sensible and really worked in the final execution. Their excellent sense of style and design helped guide me through the process and their recommendations always felt right, both in terms of the look I wanted and in keeping to a budget. They were very professional in every aspect of the project, were always on time to every meeting, and were a pleasure to work with. The result exceeded my expectations. “Sara did an amazing job creating a "big girl" room for my daughter. She worked quickly and efficiently within our tight budget and time parameters. We did not want to re-paint our blue built-ins for cost reasons and so we were able to blend our manly office into a perfect girly space for my three-year old. Sara was a pleasure to work with and always had a smile on her face. She came in on budget and never pushed us to do more than we were comfortable with. She really listened to our needs and wishes and made sure we were part of the design process. I can't wait to do another room so we can work with her again!”

“Austin Gray was an exceptional experience. The project involved organzing and executing a moving into your new home, incl space planning & interior decorating. The care and attention extended beyond moving articles from location to location. Years of collecting left me with vaults in a storage facility. Austin Gray worked with me to determine items to be moved to the new home, items to be sold and items to be donated. They also managed the transfer And tracking of these items to the appropriate location. All of this was done not just professionally but with care and attention. I also needed complete decorating support as I had neither the inclination nor the time to select items for the new home. All of this was handled with utmost attention to detail and a true commitment to customer service. This firm is exceptional.”
