“We have worked with Timothy over several home projects over 6-7 years. He is absolutely amazing and has totally transformed our home. He goes above and beyond and his attention to detail is unmatched. Our last project was part of a remodel and addition that we did and he managed all aspects, from wallpaper, flooring to furniture and decor. He is attentive to the needs of the family and to the things that are important to them but is not afraid to push the decorative boundaries to finish the look. Superb professional that you can entrust with your most precious asset!!!”

“Building a house is one of the most exciting, stressful, costly and memorable things one can do in a lifetime. Picking your designer is your first crucial decision. Emily makes the process incredibly pleasurable. She has the education and experience to make her great. However, it is her natural ability to see beauty that makes her exceptional. Emily has this incredible ability to help you see the vision which is hard for us first timers or novices out there. Emily takes your idea and stratifies it. She pushes you just enough so you take comfortable risks and gently steers you from regrettable mistakes. She is remarkable. One of the most important elements Emily brings is advocacy. During my build when we ran into problems, my builders/contractors would occasionally push me into solutions that were easiest or cheapest for them. Emily would not allow it. She would rectify the issue and provide solutions that we all agreed on and most importantly I was happy with. This makes her worth her weight in gold. Emily has everything you want and need in a designer. She is experienced, talented, diversified, organized, professional and truly a joy. You will have hundreds of decisions when building a home, Emily should be your first.”

She has the ability to see potential in your home you never could have imagined, and then the ability to build her vision at a reasonable cost, greatly increasing the market value of your home. Lillian took my parents’ 50-year-old home and brought it into the 21st century, turning it into a like-new home. As a result of her creation we realized multiple bids upon listing and netted some $90,000 more upon sale than estimated by one of the largest real estate companies in the Twin Cities. “Vela Creative does incredible design work, with an intuitive ability to understand exactly what you're looking for. After moving across the country, my husband and I were looking to renovate our condo. Kimberly was professional and easy to communicate with. “Working with Zimmer Design has been an amazing experience. The design work has been excellent. It's thrilling to live in the space she designed for us. It was perfect! She also did a great job of navigating the hard parts - conflicting input, past deadlines (not her doing), going to bat when things arrived damaged. As we move into the next phase, she picked out the the perfect wallpaper and materials as well as had great ideas. Highly recommend.”

“I worked with Abby of Happy Interriors for a design of the main level of our home. She developed a floor plan, selected furniture, paint colors, fixtures, kitchen door pulls, window treatments, etc. Abby was outstanding - she listened and really understood what we hoped to achieve in our home, and created a design we absolutely love. Her service was outstanding from start to finish, which included a mock-up and modifications to the design, purchasing, delivery and installation. Happy Interiors' pricing was also extremely reasonable - they charge a flat fee based on the rooms you are working on. I would highly recommend this company and specifically Abby.”

“I have worked with Laura Bischoff of Metropolis Design Group on two occasions--both with my 1924 family home in Tangletown in South Minneapolis and with my "empty-nest" modern condo on the river downtown. I loved working with her both times and highly recommend her. She is fun, kind, smart and great to be around and brings a wide variety of skills and a depth of knowledge that dramatically increases what is possible. She is hands-on--painting a lovely graphic element to make a focal point of a set of kitchen cupboards, for example--and also can access whatever other resources (both people and materials) that are needed. She has great ideas to extend a budget, a wonderful eye for color and texture. With both my homes, she helped create a sophisticated and wonderfully comfortable background for my life. I look forward to working with her again!”
