“Marie Lyall is the best! Fortunately we did not lose our house in the 2017 Napa fire, however our home was severely smoke damaged. Marie came in and saved the day. She helped us to choose paint colors and replace damaged furniture. She designed a beautiful custom iron stair railing, and helped us with so many other, overwhelming to us, design related projects. She is extremely talented, easy going, friendly and was always respectful of our budget. We now have our home back, refreshed and more beautiful, thanks solely to Marie. We highly recommend Marie Lyall Interior Design!”

In particular, my Kreiss dining room set needed re-upholstering. I had put the project off for the longest time as could not make a decision on the design direction. Kim offered the ideal combination of patience and expertise to guide me in finding exactly what I wanted. The end result is a formal dining area that I love and fits my family's lifestyle perfectly. “We recently finished a remodel of our mid-century kitchen and we couldn't be more thrilled with the results. Tony and Dawn are amazing and their eye for design is impeccable...what I was most impressed with was how detailed they were and that they listened to our needs. We wanted a kitchen that looked great but was also functional, and they delivered! My wife and I both work, so it was important to us to know that they were there to handle all the small details and be on site to work with contractors, handymen, etc. No doubt, remodeling a kitchen is stressful but Tony and Dawn were so accommodating and made the project much easier than it would have been otherwise. The final photo shoot was bittersweet -- everything looked amazing but we were a little sad the project was over since working with Tony and Dawn was such a pleasure. I can't recommend them highly enough. Check out the photos of the Chevron marble back splash in the Yelp photo album toward the end and also on their website.”

“First of all if you know me, you know I love to decorate & entertain. After spending countless hours on pinterest & getting nowhere, I realized I needed to hire a professional. Once I hired Cesar Chavez Design a huge weight was lifted. I loved his existing work so I knew he could help me achieve the look I wanted. He quickly identified my style based on my inspiration images and came up with a design plan for my budget. It has been truly exciting to see my house transform into a beautiful home. “Very generous designer who made my tiny rental feel spacious and bright! So grateful for Jenn’s excellent list of recommendations she offered me within 24 hours after seeing my home. She helped me realize that my space doesn’t have to be or feel small by changing a few simple things such as, painting the interior, raising all the curtain rods to make my ceiling feel higher, layer cowhides on the cold tiled floor, moved my paintings around that made more sense to view, helped me find beautiful decorative pillows, dining table and chairs, and the most comfy modern chair and ottoman we all fight over to sit in and most importantly she suggested many choices to choose from to change out all the old dated light fixtures. I learned that investing in great curtains, sconces to lamp shades would be worth the investment since I can take them with me if and when I ever move. My home now feels spacious, fun and festive to visit and a whole lot bigger and brighter because I used every single one of Jenn’s innovative ideas. Loved her smart suggestions and felt she respected my small budget and made it work besides making my cozy place a place all my friends and family love to visit.
