She's guided us through three projects for two different houses--one a coastal summer residence on the coast of Maine, the second a large Shingle Style house just outside a city. “We have worked with Penelope Daborn Ltd. on several occasions. We are always pleased with the results. Penny has helped in choosing colors, fabrics and drapes. We recently built a new porch and we had seen a sofa we liked in a magazine. Penny helped to design the piece to be built. In addition she helped with the spatial arrangement of the room, the selection of fabric and window coverings and additional furnishings. We originally worked with Penelope Daborn Ltd. 7 years ago when we moved to a new house. We always come back for her expert eye, wealth of knowledge and the top notch coordination in making the arrangements for acquiring what we need.”

“Small, independent interior design firm whose focus is the wishes of the client. Gail Gross, the owner and proprietor, creates a focused environment by discussiion and interpretation of the client's perceptions and desires. Gail is particularly good at matching desires with deliverables. She has a unique way of probing and interpreting the client's goals and aspirations and interpreting them into expected deliverables. Experience in lighting design, fabrics, as well as an educator in interior design. Receptive to client input and also provides pointed feedback. Easy to work with, and professional business acumen. She has been instrumental in helping to develop a plan for encompassing my wishes in the overall remodel of my Center City condominium. She facilitates a customer focused implementation plan which could be immediate, or accomplished over time. Gail will not disappoint.”

“I worked with Tyler while building a new home over the summer. Bottomline Tyler is a creative genius. Her eye for design is unmatched in Maine. She is very easy to work with and I would recommend her to anyone building a house or remodeling their home. She has an in depth understanding of the construction process and that knowledge allows her to stay within your budget and meet all the timelines throughout the building process. She works hard to understand your style and incorporate pieces that reflect who you are and what will work in your home. If I were to ever build another home I would contact Tyler before I even looked at plans to come up with design ideas before the building process even starts! She is fantastic and I highly recommend her.”
