“We hired Michelle to help us redesign our master bath and are absolutely thrilled with the outcome. We wanted to create a spa like setting complete with a larger shower, luxury whirlpool and other creature comforts that women enjoy. Michelle came up with a stunning design that involved some changes of moving a wall, adding pocket doors and relocating some of the plumbing. Her plan included all the materials to be considered for the project and paint colors. We love the whirlpool that is large enough for two and has these fancy lights that change colors as the pool is on. Her design incorporated the existing master bedroom and she helped us with some ideas there also. Michelle is very creative, full of energy and an absolute joy to work with. There are many great designers in Chicago and she is definitely in that elite group of designers.”

“Meredith is an amazing designer. It is apparent she loves her job. She understood my style, my needs and my budget. When I wanted an item that did not fit into my budget, she found a way to make it fit or explained to me why this would put the project over budget and found alternatives when necessary. She designed our rental condo unit in the city, which was a clean slate and our new offices for my market research company. I always felt comfortable expressing my opinion and she was always quick to change out an item if I expressed doubt about it. I believe using Meredith actually saved me money while still achieving my goals and meeting my deadlines. I can't wait to work with Meredith on my next project-a basement design.”

“We initially engaged with Kristin Petro Designs, Inc. for space planning during the architectural phase of our new home construction. Ms. Petro was knowledgeable and definitive, making many suggestions that significantly altered the original plan. These included room sizes, locations, patio designs and complete change on the location of our stairs. We were so impressed with her work, we engaged with her again for home planning. Ms. Petro helped us establish budgets after a thorough review of our style. She worked diligently to ensure we worked within these constraints and assembled a flow of material that would be impossible for us to coordinate on our own. Not only are we extremely satisfied with her design acumen, but her CAD skills utilized for all custom cabinet elevations allowed us to properly bid custom cabinet suppliers. The savings on this alone was an unanticipated silver lining. At the onset, I was against the use of any designer, but would not build another house without one. Ms. Petro gets an A+.”

“We had the pleasure of working with Gemma to update our family room and kitchen. The results are outstanding! Gemma's incredible eye for design and extremely professional working style made the project a pleasure from start to finish. Gemma has an excellent eye for detail and architecture. She took my many inspiration photos and created new spaces that feel as though they've always been in our home. She thought of every last detail, so the spaces feel truly finished. Gemma is a great communicator and there were no surprises. She was clear about what our budget would permit, and was creative about making it work. She has excellent taste and has clear opinions, which helped me make good decisions.
