“Gretchen is wonderful. I had been wanting to re-do my living area but was afraid to hire someone and afraid to do it myself. By extreme fortune, I found Gretchen. She tapped into my inarticulate needs brilliantly and came up with a truly lovely design that made all my previous fears disintegrate. She also made the process of implementing the design pretty painless. She is a gifted artist and real professional - and yet, worked smoothly with a rank amateur. We hired her to design our living room and it is now our most favorite place to spend time in our home. She is quick to respond to any questions or concerns and has been a pleasure to work with. We will be hiring her again to help us with our master bathroom renovation.”

“I had recently swapped my dining and living room furniture as we never used the living room, and only used the dining room for larger groups and needed lots of space a couple of times a year. Sarah Herman's came recommended to help me with curtains, carpets, light fixtures and artwork, transforming my furnishings into masterpieces. She was exceptional at tuning into what my preferences were and came up with beautiful options in my budget. I could not be happier with the end result. Every single person who comes to my home compliments the decor of these rooms. I love sitting in my sitting room (previously the dining room) as it is warm and inviting. The new dining room is spectacularly outfitted with a classic Tuscan feel that adds a lot to our culinary experiences in that room.”

“This husband and wife team are amazing! They have unbelievable talent and are so personable. Benavides Design House turned our unfinished basement into a beautiful space complete with an art room for the kids, spare bedroom, entertainment room, pool table/game room and a wine cellar wall. They did renderings for us ahead of time so that we could really see what our space would look like. They sat down with us and made sure we were comfortable and got to know our style before they made recommendations. They were flexible enough to put up with our last minute change of heart on a few decisions. They were also very responsive to our calls and emails throughout the process. Plus when we first moved to the South Jersey area, we paid almost double the hourly fee for a designer so we consider BDH to be very competitively priced. You can not go wrong with this talented pair!!”

“Nicole is absolutely amazing. I can't say enough good things about her and the interior decorating services that she provided for us. Nicole originally helped us in a historic home in Jacksonville. She was incredible at learning what we wanted, matching the neighborhood feel, and making the house feel just right. We then unexpectedly moved to the beach!! Nicole worked with us to repurpose our old furniture, adapt it to our new house style and make the PERFECT house sitting. We love, love, love the work that Nicole did for us. We're so grateful.”

“Audra Fine at Deconstructed Living helped us furnish and decorate our home in Margate NJ. It was new and had nothing. She was respectful of our tastes and budget. She took our input but didn't let us make mistakes. A few years later we moved our primary home in PA. She worked with all of our furnishings that we wanted to keep while bringing in new items to update our home. Audra is the best. She is a delight to work with.”
