“Had a complete kitchen overhaul. New cabinets - layout- appliances etc. Fantastic company to deal with from the owner Alex - down to Amanda in the office. They have master craftsmen who do their install. My kitchen had quite a few challenges with beams and crown moldings. I don't know what was better the price ( which came in $12,000 cheaper than any other kitchen company for custom cabinetry! ) or the professional install. Highly recommend!!”

“Glitz just finished a large renovation in my home in manhasset. They did my stairs, floors TWO bathrooms inclucing a master suite, a den living room and entry way. They were wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. I could not be happier with the work that was done. Their pricing was very reasonable and better than any others we met with. They are professional and showed up every day at the same time. I was told the construction would take 6 to 8 weeks and I did not believe them and guess what?? They were done by week 8. We are planning on additional renavotions next year and I am so glad I already have the Contractor picked out. I plan on using them for all of my future projects.”

“Jonathan took the vision I had for our living room and made it a reality. He shared his tips and introduced us to local antique shops and professionals. Old furniture touched up and reupholstered along with unique touches, like Moroccan window screens as valances, make the room feel personal and inviting. “A R Home Construction was awesome. I was so nervous hiring someone I really didn’t know for such a big job. My first meeting with Tommy put me at ease I was sent a full estimate within 24 hours of meeting him. It was also a pleasure to deal with everybody in the A&R team they were all professional and courteous. The start date and the completion date for the project were right on target not many contractors can say that. I was also very impressed by Tommy‘s attention to detail and style he was instrumental in many of the decisions made on this project when it came to tiles and fixtures not only did he make suggestions but he actually accompanied me to retail stores to help make choices. I can honestly say that my house looks like something out of a showroom I feel A&R has exceeded my expectations in this project.”

“In the past twelve months, I undertook a major renovation of my home. This was the first time I was involved in a project of this size. The project called for a gut renovation of a majority of the house (while my three sons and I continued to live in the home). This included a complete redesign of the entire first floor (kitchen, living room, dining room and bathroom) which involved the removal of a major load bearing wall. We also gut renovated the master bath (adding a laundry closet) and a hall bath on the second floor while redesigning the master bedroom and all common areas of the house. Merri's knowledge of floor layout and modern design concepts allowed for a project with a number of unique twists to come together on time and within the original budget. Merri was flexible in providing advice and guidance on the project while also being careful to incorporate my ideas. She has the ability to take the thoughts/concepts of a client and turn them into reality in the project. My experience is this is not a universal ability for all designers. She was always sure to listen to my requests and take the time to point out the issues these requests can have on the project including timing and budget ramifications. Finally, Merri worked well with a number of subs on the job to be sure that they were following her design concept while the project advanced from the rip out to finish stages. I was highly impressed with her and I continued to use her expertise on the finish work including color design, drapery suggestions as well as furniture and carpeting choices. I enthusiastically recommend Merri for your project. ”
