“Butler Landscapes completed a landscape project (building a terraced area, pathways and driveways, two raised beds as well as a small amount of planting) in our suburban garden in the summer of 2016. We had plans for a garden design drawn up before meeting Sharon and Paul - but these needed modifying in order to keep the project within the budget. Paul was very helpful in suggesting the elements of re-design that would keep the price down to what we could afford, and having giving us a price he stuck to it for the entirety of the work - no hidden extras, no last minute requests for extra money. Compared to past experiences it was an absolute joy! I felt that both Sharon and Paul listened to what we wanted, and didn't try and persuade us to have a design or style that we were not comfortable with, but did suggest modifications that would improve on the the practicalities or look of the design - and we were very happy with these suggestions. The work itself was completed to a very high standard, the men working on the project worked hard and felt trustworthy, which was important to me as I was out at work for much of the time. The work did take longer to complete than initially anticipated, but this was largely due to the weather - which was not under Butler Landscapes' control. Paul ensured that all the loose ends were tied up before he asked for the final payment, coming back to the site a couple of times to ensure that all the last bits and pieces of work were finished. We are delighted with the end result and looking forward to enjoying it properly after the winter.”

“We were bored with our square garden and had some ideas of how to make it more interesting but we needed someone to put them together in a coherent way. Sue more than lived up to our design expectations and was a great pleasure to work with. She listened well to our ideas and managed to incorporate all the features we wanted in a truly beautiful design. Now it is a really interesting garden with different views from different angles. There is a pleasure in walking round it via the new paths and it is lovely and green with a great structure I can build on over the years to come. ““We have worked with George on three projects at our cottage in Worcestershire - design and remodelling of our front garden and driveways, creation of a wildflower meadow and design for our rear garden. Throughout we have been impressed by George’s consultative approach, knowledge and meticulous attention to detail. He listens to our requirements and creates beautiful designs that are both innovative and practical. He is also not afraid to get his hands dirty which is a bonus. We have been exceptionally pleased with the projects George has completed for us and we receive regular compliments from visitors on our gardens. “We had a very small, sloping, tired garden in need of re-landscaping and inspiration. Mel from Garden Plan Design spent time with us finding out our likes and dislikes and what would work within the space. The plan Mel produced was beyond our expectations, incorporating raised flower beds, water features and decked and paved areas. The vision was realised through the work of Avalon Landscape & Design and Lupin Gardening and we now have a beautiful outside space which is a pleasure to spend time in. Carole & Kevin Beirne”

“Will was a great worker. He took up and relaid some paving that we needed to put a new shed on. The work was very physical, but he did a great job. We noticed he was constantly checking to see if the paving was level and if he wasn’t satisfied he relaid it again. The proof is in the pudding - once the shed was placed there, there was no movement at all! Very happy customer. We would highly recommend. Thank you Will”
