“Southbay Design & Landscaping redid our backyard over 4 years ago, and have been maintaining it ever since. They are very responsive to any requests we have and are thorough in the maintenance of our yard. I appreciate that they will plant new plants for us if we pick them up and have given advice on what kind of plants work around our yard. They even help out by fixing our sprinklers without us asking (we actually hadn’t realized it was broken but were suspicious of why the grass wasn’t growing well in one spot). We appreciate their professionalism and good work.”

“David did an exquisite job with my yard: it's an oasis and I spend as much time as I can outside taking it in. it's easy-maintenance, beautiful all seasons, and simply peaceful. The process was painless, and David listened carefully to what I wanted and "got" who I am. Moreover, he was mindful of my budget, and I never felt like I had to give up anything. Over the years I have contacted him with questions, and he has always been generous with his time and ideas. He is knowledgeable, talented, and creative. I LOVE LOVE LOVE his work!”

“Gun was a real pleasure to work with. She listened very carefully to our half-formed ideas, made sure she understood what we wanted and liked, as well as what we didn't want and didn't like. We are delighted with the results! She transformed our somewhat neglected front yard into a lovely low-water garden. She skillfully guided us through every step, from initial consultation, design, contractor selection, installation and plans for on-going maintenance. Any questions/issues were quickly resolved. “Recently I had my front yard landscaped by Landcon-Landscape Construction Inc. I had heard such great reports about Landcon from several people and friends I decided to contact the company. I called Mr. Bruce Hamilton, owner of Landcon and set up a date for him to survey my property and work out some kind of blue prints and costs for the project. He was at my home a few days later with everything on paper. What he had for changes were amazing to me. After agreeing to his plan we were off and running. His crew, led by forman Jimmy, came in a couple of weeks later and cleared everything right down to the soil. Then the fun started. They installed columns ,a wrought Iron fence , an artificial lawn, beautiful plants to add color to the property and lots of lights that looks beautiful at night, A new entrance way was also added that really adds to the home. My neighbors say the project has added a lot to the whole area. Two of my neighbors hired Landcon for projects of their own after he finished my home. I am very please the the results of my home and highly recommend Landcon-Landscape Construction for any of your landscape needs. Thank you Mr. Hamilton and your company for a great job.”

“Kristen designed a beautiful makeover for our yard - front, back and sides. She asked lots of questions before designing anything - what we wanted (pavers, pretty flowers), what we didn't want (water feature, yellow flowers) and in general, how we wanted to use our yard. She came up with lovely, detailed plans for a traditional looking garden (with our traditional looking house) - that were revised slightly with discussion, then found a couple of contractors to bid on the work. She supervised the work of the one we chose, making sure they followed the plans. She recommended a new gardner - good choice. About a year later she replaced the few plants that hadn't made it (for no charge), and now almost two years later the place is absolutely beautiful! I can't tell you how many complements we have received ever since the job was originally completed - and they continue to this day!”

“I hired Terry Shimono to help with a backyard design and then do all the work for a complete backyard remodel for a 20' x 15' backyard. This included taking out an old concrete patio and replacing with a new patio of pavers as well as an irrigation system and landscaping. Terry is one of the most professional and patient individuals I have ever worked with. He took time on several occasions to discuss the plans, look at patio options and shop for plants/trees. Not only did he meet deadlines and budgets, he also had a very helpful attitude during the entire process. One of the things I was most impressed with was the clean up. When the job was complete, the clean up was so thorough, it was impossible to tell they had been there. The end result exceeded my expectations and I am thoroughly enjoying my new backyard. I highly recommend hiring Terry without any reservations.”

“I just completed a remodel of my pool and landscaping with the Alder Group, and simply stated I could not be happier. From the first meeting until the project was completed, Don always looked for ways to improve the project and at the same time ways to minimize the cost of the project. His keen eye for design saw needed simple improvements that were relatively inexpensive but had a massive effect on the overall beauty of the project. Perhaps most importantly when the manufacturer delivered the wrong custom coping, and I worried that we would not be able to meet the deadline of a large party that was planned for my backyard; Don found a way to resolve the issue and keep the job on schedule. Don is truly one of the good guys.”
