My vision was to have walls that were made of a natural substance, that showed texture and energy with an artistic flare. The exposed concrete walls we were expecting in our new condo had been covered in a cement-like substance that did not come anywhere close to my vision. The depth, texture, colour and uniqueness had been completely covered and changed to a dull, plain, one-dimensional covering. I now have walls and columns that are the feature of each room.
