“I have an architectural background and have hired painters for decades. Schmidt Painting is the best I have ever hired. They come in with a large, well-trained, well-mannered team. They get quickly organized and proceed to attack the job with professionalism, meticulous attention to detail, and aren't done until they have met their own very high standard. I have hired them twice; in each case it was a complicated interior project. The work included both old and new work, ceilings, walls and trim (including crown molding). In one instance they even corrected some of my trim work before proceeding with the painting. I have never seen painters work as carefully on prep work, such as caulking, as Schmidt's team, before they pull out their brushes and rollers. They use as many coats as necessary to produce as perfect a result as I have ever seen. By using a large team, they are able to get large jobs finished in a day or two, while so many other painters hang around for weeks. I intend to use Schmidt Painting for all my painting needs in the future.”

“Terry did a wonderful job painting our house -- inside and out. He has the perfect, patient, low-key temperament for painting. For example, he cut no corners with sanding and painting multiple layers to cover a huge amount of dark trim with white. He was flexible with adding items that occurred to us as work progressed. He interfaced with the other workers with no issues. He made suggestions for additional items that turned out great, e.g. staining the fireplace bricks.”

“Cookie's Painting is excellent! You will first meet with David Cook to discuss your project. When the day arrives, his professional painting/power washing crew will arrive on time, with everything they need. Cookie's crew are positive, pleasant and upbeat. They keep on task, they don't cut corners and they begin the job and finish the job when they say they will. A side note; we had wall paper borders removed (a job we thought we might tackle ourselves) but when we saw the labor involved, wall repair and time it took to get the border off, we realized we could not have done what they did. We have also hired them to paint the exterior of our home/bed and breakfast in the spring. We highly recommend Cookie's Painting and Power Washing”
