“Aarow Building is the best contractor I've ever used. They are doing a remodel of two bathrooms, replacing back stairs with an upstairs half bath, remodeling and combining two bedrooms into a one-room master suite that includes a walk-in closet, remodeling and combining a kitchen, dining room and living room into a great room area, replacing the front door, adding a mantel and installing a "garage-door-opener-driven" dumbwaiter. The crew all work directly for Aarow and most of them are college-educated. They are flexible and professional and they have been especially sensitive to the needs of my elderly mother who has dementia. They treat her with respect and took great pains to make her bathroom more accessible. Jake Bruton, Aarow's owner (who succeeded his father after 30 years in the business) comes every morning and we go over what got done the day before and consult about what will happen that day. He has a great attitude and we truly make decisions together. He meets me at stores when I am struggling with choices. Jake has guided the entire project, from design to completion (which happens next week). He has an art degree, which gives him a more nuanced understanding of design. Jake takes pride in the quality of the work and has redone many small things just to make sure we're completely satisfied (releveled a sink and tp holder, switched out a vanity, moved outlets, switched out a mirror, etc.). My only small complaint is that the project has taken longer than projected and is ending a bit close to Christmas. It's not all their fault because of unanticipated termite damage and mold. In the middle of the project, Jake had to terminate someone who was chronically late and I supported him in that, even though we lost some time. He is currently making an all-out push to make up lost time and get done, even pulling in his father to help. I would highly recommend this contractor. The overall experience has been very positive.”

“Professional, knowledgeable, VERY flexible. Was able to change gears on a moments notice. I like the fact that he is a one man operations because then I knew who to go to. Able to customize my deck the way I wanted and he gave his input but he made clear that I was the one to make the decisions so I was happy about the end results. Very driven individual. Takes him a little longer being as it is just him but totally worth the wait.”

“Loved working with Angela, Kerry, Danny and the gang on our kitchen remodel! They were very thorough and their attention to detail was spot on! Danny and his crew made sure the work site was cleaned up daily and they were professional and courtious while at the work site. Angela was great help from the initial design process to helping pick fixtures and colors to the installation of the finished product.”
