“Highlands Home Services leader Shelby Baird did an excellent job on our bathroom project. The cost was on par with other quotes we received. Quality of work is outstanding. Shelby was always sure to maintain a clean workspace and keep our house free of debris during our renovation. Our project involved remodeling a bathroom in our house built in 1970. There were several challenges Shelby uncovered and overcame. Our project involved taking the bathroom walls, floor, and ceiling down to the studs., Shelby reworked plumbing, rerouted and modified electric, removed a very heavy bathtub, installed floor and wall tile, installed a new toilet, shower, and vanity. He painted walls, installed shower doors, put in all new plumbing and light fixtures, and all associated wooden trim. Shelby has a very broad skillset and was able to work through any problem he encountered. Additionally, Shelby is very polite and was respectful of our home. “In April of 2016, we began the search to find the best contractor in the Cincinnati area to build a new addition and remodel our house. It was a difficult process, and after interviewing several contractors I was about to give up until a contractor that had worked on my kitchen recommended Legacy Custom Builders LLC. I was sold from the first meeting with James Kennedy where we walked through the house and discussed the ideas around the addition. James walked me through the entire process and one of the best pieces of advice he gave me was to hire an architect (Darren E. Myers from Kenneth R. From the initial drawings, through the city variance process, and finalizing the budget paperwork, Legacy and Darren were there every step of the way. Things can arise at any time that are unexpected and to the home owner may seem overwhelming and insurmountable. However, Rob is always cool and has a plan of action. He is patient and takes the time to explain all of the options and is only concerned that the client is happy in the end. I can't thank him and his team enough for everything they did over the 6 month period to make things right and ensure everything was taken care of down to the last detail. Overall, I cannot say enough great things about Legacy Custom Builders LLC. There are very few businesses...let alone contractors that are so honest and upfront with clients. “I wish everyone conducted their businesses as professionally as the folks at Turnings Unlimited. I sent a photo of newel posts that I had seen and liked very much. Justin asked for dimensions which I was able to provide and he sent the dimensions to me for the posts which I gave to the company building the staircase. We did all this with a very few emails and phone calls for a house under construction 1000 miles from where the newels were made. When we needed some extras for a change in plans, they were able to make them and ship them to us in a short amount of time so we could complete the staircase on time.
