“It is a pleasure to write a testimonial for Stephensen Constructions. My house was built in 1903 and very little had been done in the following century. Stage 1 of the renovation was a complete strip out of the upper level, and new build downstairs to make a two level home. Shane and his team offer a high level of personalised service, their attention to detail is first class, and the team and all contractors were always respectful, approachable and professional. Coming from a design background, I wanted to be involved in the building process. I was always consulted regarding any changes which needed to be made and Shane always responded to any questions I had. We have just completed Stage 2, which was a deck, garages and fences, and once again the process was seamless, with the same high quality finish. Shane and the team are very well organised, with quality workmanship throughout and attention to detail. The process has been extremely enjoyable and I am thrilled with the outcome of my home. “The Civic Steel Homes team made the whole process of building our dream home on our block of land (with a difficult sandstone substrate) so easy and straightforward. Neither my husband nor I had built a new house before, and we were guided through the necessary steps and assisted in making all the decisions by the friendly, experienced and professional team, including a sales manager, in-house architect, colour consultant, accounts manager and a project manager all working in harmony to ensure our wishes were fulfilled. The results did justice to the magnificent views from our property, as you can see from the photos. “Eco Essence built our 2 story beach house at Casuarina in 2012. Jeremy and Wayne from Eco Essence Homes were recommended to us by the property developers of Seaside as Eco builders. When we met with them to sketch out some ideas, they immediately impressed us with their easygoing but professional approach and the way in which they translated our ideas to paper. It also appealed to us that they were a local company and not part of a large chain. House construction is not the easiest thing to go through, especially as absentee owners and not knowing a joist from a bearer, but Jeremy and Wayne made the process a lot easier and were often a long way ahead of us in their thought process and ideas. Our home was completed on schedule and within budget. We love our beach house and it has come through all that the weather has been thrown at it with flying colours. We are thankful for Jeremy and Wayne’s expertise and particularly their “nothing is too much trouble” personal approach.”
