“We added an orangery to extend our existing kitchen to create a large open plan room for kitchen, dining and seating. We chose Westbury mainly because we wanted a bespoke solution, they clearly had lots of experience of what does (and doesn't) work and they came up with designs that we really liked which brought to life and greatly improved our own half-baked ideas! We used Westbury to do everything....design, planning permission, building works (foundations, knocking through etc), building the orangery, installing underfloor central heating (including most of the plumbing), lighting and other electrics, internal floor tiling and they made and installed various bespoke fittings to help integrate the 'old' and 'new' areas into a single living space. We found all the Westbury staff to be friendly and professional and importantly they kept us well informed throughout. Most have been with the company for years and are passionate about doing a good job. Any building work always comes with an element of disruption and the real test of any firm is how they deal with the unforeseen issues that inevitably crop up - we didn't have many, but all were sorted promptly and professionally. Overall the whole design and build experience was a pleasure and the end result has exceeded our expectations.”

“We used Tommy and his team, Fixup, on the recent refurbishment of our family home. We now have an amazing four bedroom home, with a new ensuite and perfect family ground floor living. They converted an old garage into a new kitchen and extended the back of the property to allow for a sitting room and dining area with a new downstairs loo. We also have new bedroom wardrobes they they made and fitted. Tommy was great to work with and problem solve design solutions that best suited our needs and budget. The team have a high standard and work around any problems that arise. The team had to work around us living in the space for the end of the project and kept the working areas clean and safe for our children. We also worked with an architect that the company had work with on previous projects, this relationship was one that I would recommend as they knew each other. The Fixup team had lots of patience as we had a few delays due to party wall agreements etc. We love the end result of our home and this was the result of working so closely with Tommy. We have recommended him to other friends and will continue to do so. “A double storey extension comprised of a large double ensuite bedroom with two pairs of French doors, each opening onto a cantilevered balcony; tiled utility area with toilet and an ensuite shower added to an existing bedroom. Roof was tiled with Kent pegs to match existing. Extension was painted, inside and out. The exterior walls and windows of the main house were also painted to match and any repairs were carried out. Pink and Black provided a bespoke service and sourced many of the unique features that complemented the new space. In addition, Pink and Black were also very patient with last minute change of plans. I decided not to move out of the house whilst the work was carried out. The friendliness and respectfulness of all the guys involved in the building processs helped to make the situation of builders in the house less invasive, in fact I missed them when they finally left.”
