“I think most people write reviews when the work is just finished or even during the process. I wanted people to know that I purchased my new home about a year ago and taking care of various issues after the sale is done is extremely important to us. Kevin and his teams not only built our home, but they are also there for us when we need them. Some of these issues were not the responsibility of KD Builders but they took the time to help us solve these problems and in one case fixed it without charging us. Beyond their impressive expertise, every member of Kevin's team is friendly and a pleasure to work with. They proficiently address the issues and are able to clearly explain the process to a layman. “I have hired A&E Construction for both large and small projects multiple times over the past 8 years and without any hesitation, give them the highest recommendation possible. The owner of the company, Greg Fontaine, is experienced, knowledgeable, honest and reliable. Projects were always done on time and on budget and if for some reason, the schedule needs to change, Greg does an excellent job communicating the reasons. Before working with A&E, we hired many contractors over the years, and no one ever compared in terms of quality of work combined with reliability and trustworthiness. Another thing we've really appreciated about working with Greg is his ability to provide us with options and ideas if we needed to scale back on a project. Two of the larger projects Greg did for us were finishing our basement and building a poolhouse. Greg was very cognizant that we did not have an unlimited budget and worked with us to make sure we got the most for our money. Greg also does an excellent job hiring talented and reliable people that I am always comfortable having in my home. Additionally, they are very neat and always clean up after themselves at the end of each day. Lastly, and most importantly, Greg really cares about his customers and goes above and beyond what's expected to make sure they are 100% satisfied. I can't say enough good things about him and A&E!! If you hire them, you won't be disappointed.”

“I have worked with Jeff McMahon on many design/build projects. He is attuned to working with the topography and the sun when siting his houses. He consults closely with his clients when planning their modernist houses, and finds sustainable solutions for them. He listens to their needs and does as much as possible on paper and computer before breaking ground. When construction starts, Jeff and his crew are focused and efficient. The result is a track record of many striking and beautiful homes, as well as extremely happy homeowners. I can’t recommend Jeffrey McMahon Design + Build highly enough.”
