“Shan is an exceptional craftsman and energy efficient builder. I was on a number of his jobs and his work was above and beyond the quality of anyone else in the area. I highly recommend Shan and would use his services if I was building. I was a supplier to Shan for a number of years of prefabricated building systems and materials. I visited most construction sites and Shan built some exceptional homes of complex design. Shan was always competent, very professional, detail oriented, and honest. “We hired Legacy Construction to build our lake home and barn in Sandpoint, Idaho. Greg Davis is honest, a pleasure to work with and a true craftsman. His attention to detail and eye for quality and character is truly amazing. We used some new materials but also used many reclaimed timbers and old wood. These materials are not easy to work with as nothing is 'standard' and Greg was always patient and exceeded our expectations. He built our house on budget and on time. I highly recommend Legacy Construction!”

We recently began the search for a custom log home company who could produce the log package for a very complex home near Steamboat Springs Colorado. An architect acquaintance suggested I look at Caribou Creek Log and Timber. After reviewing bids, capabilities and personalities from 3 companies we moved forward with Caribou Creek.
